Hi everyone im new to the forums and I just wanted to say hi and intoduce my 302 swapped 240sx to everyone and show you my car progress and story. Its a 89 240sx I bought 2 years ago rolling shell for 300 buxs with title. My friend owns a 93 240sx with a blacktop sr20det he did himself and thats when I fell inlove with the nismo family. But anyways for some random odd reason I decided to drop a 302 n mine. I bought the motor for 200 buxs with 42000 stock orginal miles. Put a cam in it added a weiland xcelerator intake holley 650 dbl pump some short headers with 2.5 exhaust aod transmissiin with a shift kit. Slicks and some spray. For now its gonna be a drag car its not 100% finished but will be within the next week or 2 and as soon as I figure how to post pics I will show you what progress I have done and hope you all enjoy. Til then I hope you all are asexcited to see it and running as me

That's one hell of a trans tunnel you got there! I contemplated a 302 swap awhile back myself, I've always loved the way they sound.

Here's a link from our Hybrids section. This guy, Maik21 has a metric ton of stuff done to his, all diy fashion. He started out carbed, then went to EFI.

Everything you see is diy we made all the parts. Plus my neighbor n best friend have ford parts gallore like you wouldnt imagine they build some fast stangs. But ill have pics of the motor n transmission bolted in tonite for you guys too see. I plan on having it finsihed by this weekend.

Thats excellent. I'm most interested in things like motor mounts and how well the oil pan clears the subframe.

Welcome to Nico btw!

i love seeing a small V8 in the 240 engine bay... what a mistake this was.. lol

Image

i swear this thing is larger than a mustang cobra engine... makes it extremely "easy" to work on anything.

what are you going to do about your accessory drive? you keeping or installing ac?

Swweeet project man! Just wondering if you are going to keep the stock gauges and stuff and how you plan to wire it up.
