Sweet, free update

Yea thats pretty much it, today the holes might be drilled for the intercooler piping if my friend does it while I'm at work, if not then it'll be done tomorrow unless I swing by later... well we'll see, for now the 240 sits pretty with flashy grillz up front.

I want these coilovers on NOW! but damn AAA wont move my car so they'll go on as soon as I get it back from the people doing my wiring which will be around August 6th, so it's not to long away.

The turbo elbow had a broken bolt so I have to drill through that to get my downpipe on and then I have to do some random drilling for stuff like radiator upper supports (which I broke one so I'll prob make one somehow) and the bottom bracket on the intercooler lines up with a hole with a rusted off bolt in it so that needs to be drilled.

sounds like 15w50, someone in there is even running 20w50. Our summers around here aren't to hot (100 degrees for no more than 2 days straight, usually about 80-90degrees daily) so as long as I keep a close eye on the oil pressure gauge and don't go to hard I should be fine, I dont know how weight is determined in oil but is 5w30 to light to run?

The seller was just-intercoolers, and all their contact info was CXRacing. They're amazing eBay sellers and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Amazing contact, awesome custom service, shipping info given ASAP and they made FedEx send e-mail delivery confirmation so it alerts you it's been delivered. Awesome packaging, quick shipping (6 days), great price, good looking product.

For those who don't remember, the core is 24"x11"x3"Overall is it 31"x11"x3"
After seeing your ebay link, I ended up getting the CXRacing intercooler piping kit. It ended up being around $80 for all of the piping, T-clamps, and Couplers. I am amazed at the quality! The piping is thick, the couplers are decent, and the T-Clamps are awesome! About a year ago, I got a new hotpipe from courtsy parts, and the quality doesn't even compare! The courtsy parts hot pipe was thin and banged up, and it didn't even have any couplers or clamps!

Anyone needing piping for their FMIC should jump on this! its an awesome deal!

thanks dude, it was no sweat, just took the bumper off and the horn bolts, then used that for the brackets. the L looking brackets were a little short so i took a straight bracket and extended the L bracket to fit. Wow, I said bracket alot, I hope that made sense. For now, who knows, probly permanently, the bottom mount is ziptied to the lower radiator support. I did it while the tow truck guy was prepping to lift it up, i didnt want the core rockin all over the place so a ziptie worked, and holds well.

Talked to the dude at the shop the other day, he said it'll probably take til the end of the month to finish. I basically dropped the motor in and handed it to them, so I knew it'd take a while.

I'm headed there today to drop off my bumper, miata battery, and hotpipe (newly welded with flange ) and I'll update you guys

If you turn your head to the left, and squint while jumping up and down then, yes, it does

like i said before, i've been gone for a couple years and missed a lot of stuff - this, is by far one of the coolest!

has anyone used one of the cheap ebay steering wheels for an s13? how do they look installed/hold up after a while?

I'm going to pick one up after the cars out. I do know someone who has one though, I'm not sure if the hub is eBay to but the wheel is. It looked a little small to me, and there was one small crack where one of the bolts were, but it held fine and it didnt flex bad or anything...

the hub I know nothing about, however.

Checked it out at the shop today, well, technically yesterday... but w/e...

Looks all set, they just have to do the harness. I basically gave them the car with the engine sitting in it. I meant to do alot but never did and then the date came to bring it in so I let them wrap it up, thats why i took so long, but I can NOT wait.

I'll keep you guys posted
