taking pictures of your lip to ground clearance is awesome.

especially when the assend of the car's still jacked up.

i posted teh pics not to show ride height but to show that the front end is so low that jacking it causes the front lip to actually get pushed up inot the bumper. look closely at the pics and you can see the bottom side of the lip because the driveway is forcing it into the bumper.

lol, yes you do. everybody should have one. its the bees' knees.

the lip was actually not just on the ground.... it was being bent forward too.... we were sitting there waiting for the zipties to break and let the lip loose. never happened tho. yay zipties.

ill take pics shortly. i havent done TOO much work to the car lately tho. the oem exhaust sounds 11ty billion times better than the ebay catback. great great tone...

reason i havent done too much to my car is that im currently working on all of my friends/family's cars. Tree's 2 FC-RX7s, my brother's AE86, WhiteComet's 2 240SX's, and dismantling Didderson's 240SX fastback.

have no fear nico... work will be done. parts ARE ordered. and the plans have been stepped up a notch. stay tuned.

Nice build man. I really respect you doing your best to putting only new parts on your car. Not a lot of people try to do that with S chassis these days and I think it's a damn shame.

And I don't know if anyone noticed, but this. This made my day:Its like I can hear your car yelling, "Here piggy piggy!"

yeah... the car is so low that one day i backed up, the emblem snagged on the ground, and snapped in 2... funny thing is that the day i put it on... i got followed by a cop for about 5 miles.... not to mention my "bounce on the devil, put the pedal to the floor" vinyl on my side window... those pics are mmmmmad old, but ill try to get some fresh ones soon...

s13 authentic type-x 5 lug hubs, and authentic fairlady 300zxtt alum brakes are sitting in my garage, with a NEW 300zxtt MC, 1 1/16".

picking up intercooler/turboback exhaust shortly. its a used mishimoto core he made 400whp+ on (nice small core too) and a greddy downpipe/outlet and gpsports catback... and the SR shortly after from another friend...... sr will be immediately torn down... and rebuilt healthy-like... really healthy

new wheels/tires are coming soon too...

nice. 5 lug, brakes and some engine plans.

what are your ideas for wheels? i say go bigger than current obviously, but not 18's. 17's are perfect. and now that you are going 5 lug, you have way more options.

i just gotta whoop some local sr ***. its not the practicality/cost or anything... its just that NOONE around here knows CA's or how to tune them... however, sr's... everyone around here knows em. when i say "tune" i dont mean bolts parts onto, i mean dyno-tune the ecu

the setup im planning should break 350 without breaking a sweat on pump gas.

plop that into a fully built chassis (nearly done)...

and 18's look great on the rear of an s13...

oh hell no. someone else (a professional) is gonna tune it

i know my limits. i can bolt things together, paint them, clean them, grind them, and order parts. i can do research, and piece together nice setups... and i can wire up anything under the sun. but i have NO idea how to tune a car. so that will be done by someone else. the motor will most likely see a machine shop for most of the intensive work and probably the reassembly too. just gonna have too much money in it, and im not experienced at all with engine work, so taking it to a pro is the logical choice.

for instance, if someone doesnt know how to wire something, i want them to come to me cus i know what im doing. as a professional, you get offended when people rig stuff up or are just too proud to admit they dont know what they are doing.

and by "local" i mean within 2 hours or so... i think i have my machine shop lined up as well as my tuner. but we will see once i get closer to finishing this.

yea thats what i figured... let me know who you use, ive got some plans that will more than likely require a tuner...

haha ill probably need some wiring help too, i dont think i trust myself with that sh*t

two steps forward, one step back:

black ice, 15mph hit into curb. normal driving, just tryin to get home. nothing i could do. dont fret nico, this ***** is getting built back up with more suspension treats than you can shake a stick at. its just gonna take a little time.

wheels are being picked up next week. found a too-good-to-pass up deal on some nice wheels. also my 5lug s14 rear hubs and z32 rear brakes are slated to arrive shortly.

pics shortly
