Wow... you guys are harsh. I didn't see the show, so I can't really say how I feel about it.. but it must be pretty bad.

I think regardless of what they did to it... I'd be plenty appreciative that they did it all for FREE and that my car got on TV. And, if it was as bad as you all make it sound... it'd be on Ebay tomorrow!

Based on what I've read on this thread, my expectations of MTV are as they always were -- low. Waiting on the episode to show up on torrent sites...

Quoc-Viet is a cool guy, couldn't have happened to a nicer fellow.

He and I have conversed via email, and what they DIDN'T mention on MTV was that he has a BRM Exhaust...

Wish we could've had a big-arse NICO banner on the car before they showed up...

Congrats Quoc-Viet! Glad you like it!!!

Did anyone else see that one second background shot of the black QX56 on 22's or 24's? It was cleeeeeaannn. You could see it when they first started showing that guy his 240.

Hitman When Xibit pulled off I thought to myself damn at least it sounds good. I didn't know that it had a BRM exhaust. That was actually the first time I had heard a BRM.

I missed it, but I wouldn't care what the hell they did to my car. With the money they put into it, i could sell it for way more than it was worth before, and put it into a nice project car, or even a new Z or something.

I'd never let them touch my car. I don't care how much money they put into it. I have been taking meticulous care of THIS car since the day it left the lot. I'd never find a replacement, and they'd probably do a lot of things to it that I REALLY don't want:

1) change the paint. My metallic deep emerald is one of the sexiest colors I've ever seen on a car.

2)They'd fill my trunk with heavy, pointless, speakers and video screens and other BS.

3)They'd stick some pointless crap in there just for the sheer point of putting it there (like the shock balls in the back window of that Ledgend they did).

4)They'd stick some ugly body kit on (fortunately there aren't many body kits for the J30 Max, and most are tasteful, but I'm sure they'd find a way to rice it).

5)They'd put big, ugly, heavy chrome wheels on it. I like my alloys.

6)CF. Don't want it near my car. But they'd probably do a CF hood or some BS.

And finally, they'd probably end up putting some very rice-looking tail- and headlight replacements. Nothing wrong with it stock.

But then, I'm a performance guy, and that's a show for Bling guys, so I should just be quiet.
