Well they won't hate YOU. They'd rather you buy another product so that maybe they can say We didn't have the type of car he was looking for" instead of saying "We lost the deal to another Infiniti dealer because they were more willing to satisfy him then we were."
I remember sometimes customers would come to me and say "I found a G35 Coupe for 33K with Navi, and the Aero and Sport packages. I'd be thinking "yeah right" but I'd write their offer down anyway and show my boss. Of course he'd give a chuckle and throw the MSRP at them and they'd be a little upset. This is when I said if you bring your numbers from the other Infiniti dealer in and show them to us then we'd be glad to beat their numbers. Notice I said BEAT not MATCH. How many times did they come back with their numbers? 0
Infiniti dealers will compete hard for your business. You having 2 Infiniti dealers to work a deal with is the best thing you can do if you want the car that bad. The dealers are all linked together by an internal website in which the sales consultants enter their customers info into to track them in case they do go to another dealer or just for follow up. So if you buy elsewhere, believe me you'll be getting a call from the one you didn't buy from.
Just keep one thing in mind. Infiniti believes in the "Total Ownership Experience". Reason why they topped the Customer satisfaction (C.S.I survey) last year. They also rank #1 in retaining their customers (repeat buyers). Those type of things matter too. You're guaranteed the red carpet treatment the entire time you own the car whether it's service, parts, or sales again. If you have any Q's about your deal, hit me up.
