ok, so i blew my clutch.... no motor problems. i replaced my clutch master cyl and slave cyl hoping that might fix the issue(just because the clutch had only 4k miles on it...clutch wore oddly). the pedal felt fine after that, but no clutch engage. so i bought a new clutch. during the install, we dropped the crossmember a little bit because i have solid motor mounts and install the transmission. car starts right up but the clutch petal is stuck halfway down. the clutch still engages fine, but it still sticks. it wasnt like that with the old clutch right after we installed the parts and bleed the line. clutch petal went all the way out before. thats one issue, i think an air bubble may still be in the line.
problem 2. during the first test run of the clutch, my car starts sputtering. so i drive it about half a mile to a gas station and im just running super, super rich. black smoke like woh. i mean, my exhaust smelled like pure gas, not oil. however i did do a quick oil change before the startup. the afc showed i was still getting readings from the maf, so i dont think its that. im just so confused what could make the car run that rich all of the sudden out of nowhere and after running perfectly fine. any suggestions?
