no i havent droped my car yet.. its on my list of last touches.. i first need to get new wheels cuz the ones on it right know are of the wrong offset and it rubbs a lil in the back. dont want to make it worse by lowering the back.......

unless you have a horrible a** alignment, you shouldnt be rubbin on 20's. If its rubbin a bit without anyone in back i would pick up some new shocks.

Without knowing his wheel offset, width, and tire size there's no way you can conclude that the alignment or shocks are causing that to happen.

I just put some Murano 18s on my gf's car and the front and rear fender gap is the same as DAROADSTER's. Must be how the car sits in stock form... mild lowering springs will help correct the situation.

we are aware of the "deadness" of the 3rd GEN altima forum but I think it's picked up a bit here recently but way to be negative about it

Bling 3rd gens are not cool, but black people do love my car lol

Fixing the dash is coming along. I am still off a tad with the speedometer - about 4-6 mph over the actual speed. I will recalibrate it tomorrow. I waited until the Gas Light came on, and just set the needle then to E and now it's fine, although it studders when it moves up at Start, it doesn't glide smoothly upward.

Today I got my Eibach on and my Oznium LED strips attached to my headlights. Below are pics of the Oznium strips. Let me know what you think:

^^Looks good^^ Now you just need some springs to lower the front down a little bit and eliminate the fender gap.

You will need to tune the ECU after you install injectors so plan on buying a piggy back fuel controller (SAFC-II, or equal).

UDP is going to be a waste of money that you could have put towards a part that actually frees up substantial horsepower.

I'm so sorry for the extended delay in my getting back to you about these lights. I ordered the lights from http://www.Oznium.com - they are 19" LED strips in white. They mount using 3m tape (already installed on the light strip). I mounted them to the top of my headlight because they don't fit between the light and the bumper. They come set with wiring. I spliced into my parking light/turn signals as a power source. Each light also blinks, coinciding with the turn signal being used. They are very cheap too and usually arrive within a week (or less).

Again, sorry for the delay. I've been totalled neglegant around visiting the forums more often.

WHICH, having said, I'm soooo surprised that my original posting of "PRIDE IN YOUR 3RD GENERATION" has grown as much as it has at this point. Keep the forum strong fellas!

I have a 2002 Altima that was a automatic when I bought it and did a conversion to a 5 speed manual(I have a 6speed from a sentra waiting to be put in). I shaved and wire tucked the enginebay, chrome and polished suspension, direct port nitrous, custom 2tone paint sprayed R34 black pearl and R33 grey pearl, full BRIDE interior....and the list goes on....... here are some pics for you to enjoy.....

rewiring my car....no heat, no A/C, no airbag systemIn the middle of the wire tuck...

WOW that is a lot of work that you put into that car! Beautifully done. I must say that is the best looking 3rd gen that I've seen.

Is the engine internally stock? What have you done to it besides header, intake, and exhaust? Are you using an aftermarket computer or piggyback system for tuning?

Hmm. You're in Woodbridge. I've gotta see your car sometime. Maybe seeing all the custom work will make me want to work on my 05 and not trade it in for the 370z.

Also - is that the SE-R spoiler on it? If so, where did you get it installed? I bought the OEM SE-R spoiler, and Nissan couldn't do it because it didn't come with a template (they are so oblivious), and another place didn't want to do it for me, but gave me no reasoning.

Nice look though. I love the hood. I'm thinking of swapping mine out for a carbon fiber once the weather gets a bit warmer. Thanks for sharing the pics and mods.

oh DOPE! another modded pewter Altima! YA BOY!

That's hot! I gotta get me some of those SE-R rims and a Stillen lip!

Did you have any fit issues with the SE-R rims? The rims I bought are only 18x8, but have a 35mm offset, and they rub in the back, even after I torched and rolled the lips in the back

So, what difference do you feel with the camber? is it on all four corners? just the rear?

I'm wondering if I'll have issues since I have an Eibach Pro Kit, dampers and springs . . .

I dont know CRAP about rims, unfortunately. My cars usually come with what I want, except this cheap *** Altima I bought (am I gonna get smacked for that one? lol)
