...so youre saying if you could buy a 240sx identical to mine except a 240sx not a Silvia, youd take the 240sx for the same money?? If so, enough said...

youre a dumbass and youve proved it 10 fold...

..and my car is 50 state legal
Sr powered 240 with chuki front vs sr powered silvia i would take the 240 no contest. If i had to keep it at least. If i were going to be selling the car or something i would take the Silvia, for obvious reasons, but hell no would i want the boxy boring looking silvia front end with rhd and half a frame rail. It doesn't make a bit of difference to me where it came from.

But i'm not saying you didn't get a good deal, it sounds like you did (but i don't know what kind of condition the Silvia was in). I know i got a bad deal on my S13, i was buying my first car. It was manual and gray and hatchback and chuki everything i was looking for. I talked to the lunatic down from 3900 freaking dollars, thinking i was slick or something. Then i came home and my brothers and mom and friends were all "WTF, you paid $3000 dollars for that?!" so i was like "damn." Then i got online and everyone was all "Damn you fool you paid $3000 for that?!" And i was like "damn, general consensus is im retarded and i paid twice as much as i should have for this car."

I learned my lesson. I explained all of this. I got ripped off. I don't care anymore, it was two years ago and no amount of me caring or getting pissed of will bring me my money back. I got my second 240 for $1100 no problems. Nico helped me learn a little more but i am still very uneducated compared to a lot of the members here. No biggie. That doesn't bother me either. What can you do =)

You're dumb, you're the one who came in calling names. The discussion wasn't over who payed more and got less because i i already admitted to losing that one. We were discussing who was the bigger jerk/poopyhead, a competition in which(from observing many posts in my 2 years here) i believe Koshin definitely takes the cake. That's all.

ive been reading up on this guy here a couple of your posts like s14.5 im a** u me ing (assuming) that your saying the car is built to s15 standards on an s14 chassis. like turning my 240sx se into a silvia. or atleast thats what im thinking. its what i want to do with my car is bring it as close to silvia as possible but keep it zenki and possible sr or rb swap cant make up my mind... or my wallet for that matter
saywuh wrote:doing a swap is not a day one day two jobs...you are talking about patiend and times here...my swap cost me close to about 11 that including motors and tools....i have fully build sr20 from s15 knotch back..the motor i got fairly news only 1okor so ..i got that for $3.100 then after that bought everything and that including rebuild that cost about $4300 and parts for build interior internal and such ...$4.500 and tools i rent from my friends and i swap my self..and wiring i did my self..and couple pack of heineken and corona and about 3 weeks ...

WOW leave a thread alone for a few hrs and it turns into honda-tech
DamonDread wrote:Thank you. I like to think I am a very capable person. Who would have know that Nico gives confidence boosts too. If i do the SR i definatly need it running in less than 2 months. Does it help that the swap comes with a complete wiring harness? (none of it cut)
A intact harness is a plus. Jus check out the link: http://www.frsport.com/SR20DET....html. Follow that and thro the thing in there and crank er up. No prob

Dude no one is talking to you, after you left the conversation i forgot you existed because you are that unimportant. I called you names because you are retarded and ask retarded rhetorical questions, i meant that Koshin was calling me a hater and i had nothing to say 'bout Koshin till he was bragging about sucking c***. I WAS being 'a hater' to you, who again started it with the too-dumb-to-think comment.

Sorry for s***ting on your thread OP. Be careful how you spend YOUR money or Nico's finance monitors will find you and pretend you care how much they got it for Enjoy your new car and once again, don't be afraid to swap the SR. I don't know s*** about cars and i'm almost done with my swap. Like ^^ said uncut is a plus, i wouldn't bother ordering one without a full harness since there are so many companies that do. 2 months seems like a pretty fair amount of time to do it. I've been doing mine for a month but i don't ever work on it i think if i had off work and had all the stuff i needed before i started it would've taken a couple days or a week, nothing major involved. Just study the guides so you know what tools and parts you'll need before you start.

last thing you want is a half finished/half assed project "dream car' that runs like crap and constantly breaks

sounds like your relying alot on your "friends"

you should probably learn to do stuff yourself, people are not nearly as honest and friendly as you might think
<----- this guy has built a 240 before i can tell, i completly agree... well put sir.

Nobody ran me off, i spent holdiay weekend with my kids not giving two s***s about cars (laid the fuel pump down and killed the starter friday, wife ripped the bumper off my accord on friday too. *sigh*) Thank you everybody for your opinions and advice. Im still not sure what road im gonna head down yet. I think i know where i can barrow some tools, i might rip the motor out and rebuild the damn thing myself. I just dont know yet. My mom is going through Kemo and is moving in with my this weekend, plus i have a nieces bday, then christmas so i am saying *f**** it till next year. I got to much family stuff on my plate, ATM. You guys gave me a s*** load to think about and I really appreciate it. More than I can express. Oh and some of you need to grow the f*** up for Pete's sake. My 7 year old holds himself with more diginity and self respect than some of you.
