i dont own a nssan but i do like their motor designs, so lets see what you all got! i dont care if its turbo charged, carb'd, or quad throttle'd. lemme see em!

Engine 1 and 5 are the nicest out of that group imo.

Personally, I like this one better tho :)

quick question on the CA one..... im not too familiar with the FWD CA's but whats up with that 1st cam cover, how come some of them have the little elbow on the end and some have it in the middle....is that a sign of it being FWD?? i have no clue but have just made this observation...someone please fill me in

No! FWD ones are on the ends of the valve covers. Could be 1 out of a 180sx or 1 out of a sylvia or just an older model, but definitely not a fwd thing.

well i'll keep this post to the nicer of the CA18DET engine pics i have that i don't think were posted, now i got hundreds of photos of engines, i'll go through and post the nicer nissan related ones.

i know what you are thinking you wish there was better photos of that engine, well there is.

WOW..

this one is in a MK1 Cortina somewhere on planet earth. looks very very nice... they make exhaust manifolds for the CA18DET, stock location, T25 Flange. more inof >> http://www.cortina-mk1.com/

i think i now want to vut my timing belt cover like how those guys have, was always kinda worried about soemthing falling in there and causing the belt to snap and end my engine, but it looks so, i dunno mechanical/cool.

VOW! i like the last post, i love grey tone motors, the more silvers greys and blacks used the better a motor looks, in my opinion. by the way, sean, remind me to show you the mgb motor next time you come by.

Heck yeah! Even the CA16's do as well , but they have the crossover intake deal.

well there ya go... i thought japan only got the 8 port intake manifold, and US and UK got the 4 port, very good to know.
