Does anyone have one of these? I just got into a front end collision and mine is all bent and s***.

Just wanted to see if anyone had a review or knows someone with one. Here's a link to it. Scroll down a bit:

OR, if anyone knows of a better radiator around that price, let me know.

The only difference is the hose location right? It shouldn't be a problem.

And yes, I did.

BACK ON TOPIC, DOES ANYONE HAVE A REVIEW OF THE POWERED BY MAX RADIATOR?

2 inch core, 2 row, much like many others. I want to find a decently priced 3 row myself.

So is that good? How many cores is the oem radiator?

Any other 3 rows cheaper than Koyo?

All i know is every other pbm product has great reviews. BUT your gunna have to run a ugly nasty balls crossover pipe. Just get a koyo knock off for a ka. Its not like your making big power right now. It will be more than enough.

I plan on going SR as soon as I get the money. Which would probably be less than a year. I can't justify doing that just for a simple crossover pipe.

I've seen quite a few mishimoto's in person and thus, I was about to purchase one this summer. Funds didn't permit. If I work during the school year I will probably get one.UGH, I'm sorry about that AZ. Silvia parts ain't cheap.

Shoot me an e-mail with some info and the price you'd want shipped. I'd definitely trust someone like you with used parts. Plus if it fails, I'll know where to come.

But didn't you say the fitment sucks?

Ahh i forgot its a S14 rad, nevermind, kinda forgot I was using a S14 rad in my car.

PBM is a quality company, it would be a safe bet the radiator will be top notch. But Koyo is proven time and time again. The specs on both seem about the same, I would let price determine this purchase.

My Koyo rad works great. My electric fan fuse blew and the car still didn't over heat without fans in traffic.

Griffin' is also a great alternative. Not sure why you're pressed on a PBM radiator.

I saw your car over on that zilvia thread. Pretty disappointing man.

Anyways, I have a Powered By Max radiator on my T28 powered SR. I does its job very well and have yet to experience any issues. Fitment was perfect, quality was there, drain plug didn't leak (I've read some Koyos do) and I like PBM's hex head drain plug over Koyos square-oval head. However, my brother's N-flow koyo radiator is a little wider than my PBM radiator, but cost about twice as much.

i say buy it and use the cross-over pipe temporarily.

I agree. Koyo or Griffin would be my first choices.

My Griffin Dual-Pass keeps my rb at 93 degrees c or lower for 10-15 laps. Perfect for the street.

P.S. I'm too lazy to check out your Zilvia thread, but daym dude... Sorry about the damage. I messed up my roof so I can empathize with you.

PBM is in San Diego and they seem to have good support for their products so I'm sure they would help you out if you ever cracked one of their radiators.

I know a lot of people running the generic ebay all aluminum radiators without problems and i can't imagine PBM being of any s***tier quality.

I have to admit that I do like PBM, but I am just one of those guys who will use the same product twice if it works well the first time.

After I posted last night I went onto their site to look at the rads. A few of the close-up shots on the welds look great, and it looks like solid craftsmanship.

I can see why he is eyeballing PBM, too... It's only $200.

I run PBM spacers, and I love them so far. Truly beautiful, check em out:
