Sorry for my part in jacking your thread Nskylinerb-25. Hey look at it this way you're getting bumps and traffic to your thread . Sorry I need my PS pump I don't have one for sale but I think you'll find one. You could always call up venus-auto.com, they seem to usually have some RB oem parts for sale.

Sil240 thanks for the info - but I only have the two banjo bolts that are in my KA PS pump right now. I need a new bolt to plug the hicas port (part of the reason I'm asking size & pitch) but I am also not sure if my KA banjo bolts will work on the other two ports?

So will a DOHC KA PS bracket work? Or do I need the RB bracket? And will any RB PS bracket work?

a m16x1.5 oil pan plug works wonders for pluging the rear pump feed...have to cut it down tho.the plugged banjo method works but is hella ghetto and tends to leak and spray ps fluid everywhere...

Thank you for finally giving me the size I was going to look for some m1?x1.5 drain plugs today in fact.. But I took my pump to be pressure tested and I asked the shop about blocking the hicas port, the guy removed and welded the rear fitting shut for free.

I just picked up the plug today actually and it fits neatly in the whole but is in fact too small, I got the M16x1.5 bolt, and even without cutting the end down it fit the whole bolt inside loosely... maybe I'm just retarded and didn't push it in all the way, before I make a rash statement I'll go check again actually. *revision possible tomorrow8

As soon as I get this crap figured out I will assemble all of this information into a write-up with Carl and others getting the credit cause I sure as heck had no clue. Then we can eliminate all the bazillion threads asking how to to make PS work.

couple things to add from my own experience.

1. you dont need to take out the PS veins. you can take out the valve and spring from the hicas outlet (rear outlet) of the PS pump. to do this use needle nose pliers and reach into the rear outlet hole and pull the valve out.

2. proceed to block off banjo bolt. you can use weld or cement epoxy from home depot.

my rb20 came with both bolts in the PS pump. otherwise ka banjo bolts fit in as well.
