It's not so much semantics. You're taking a low powered vehicle that's not known for it's handling characteristics and saying you "beat" a bunch of higher powered, better handling cars (mustang not included).

I used to weave through traffic with my I30 too, but once I got my G35 I don't take chances like that anymore. Part of it is growing up, part of it is not wanting to risk a pricey vehicle.

Everyone drives like that while they're young and inexperienced. It was probably more the other drivers giving up and refusing to be a danger to the public while racing on public streets.

well he was doin it, and he egged it on, I guess he might've thot I had somethin more high powered, but iono, but yea... he got spanked. I love that car too... not too many folks "pick on me" in this car, I guess it fools them or some sh*t, and I definitely don't pick "street races" or anything anymore, I'm so good on that, but some folks juss wanna egged it on, so yeah... but I feel ya... but wut I meant by semantics was that some don't consider that racing, they only consider straight lines a race, or vice versa...

we used to (back back back in the day), take our car clubs out onto the freeway, and take the biggest sh*t talkers and line them up in two lanes while driving… a neutral car would speed up a little in front and get in the middle, and when his hazzards came on, fools dropped gears and blasted through traffic… other members would be up ahead a few miles and wait for the victor. That was so tight! Lol those were the days…
