Power options for the Y34 M45

What is everyone doing for horsepower modifications for their 03-04 M45, or has anyone done anything??

Does the 06-07 M45 intakes fit on our engines???

I know the engines have plenty of power but you know, what's wrong with a little more???

Nothing yet, but I heard a local buzz that a super charger for the FX that may eventually become available for our M's, but don't hold ya breath. The infiniti dealer here in Albuquerque is heavy into modification, especially on the G's and QX's. They are stocked with rims,strut bars, cross drilled rotors, etc.. so, they have the skinny on new mods, but at 18 mpg how much punishment can we take on gas mileage with a super charger. I doubt if that intake from a the new M would fit on our cars.

Nothing that I know of currently available ... the one turbo (or was it a supercharger) that was developed for the similar year Q45 is no longer available, unfortunately.

I would be very surprised if it fitted. While the engine is similar, the compartment is quite different and the intake is unlikely to fit. Plus, I think the intakes that are being sold are for the new M35, not the M45 - someone please correct me if I am wrong!

why not the 3.0 L VQ30DET it came out of the cedric...ain't that the exact same car??? A v-6 turbo that you know already easily mounts and probably easier to get

Problem with a swap like that is going to be our best friend that we all know and love OBDII!!! That is going to make it a nightmare!

here are a couple mods ive done

complete exhaust redo, k&n air filter, lighterr rims tires, and if you into turbo's sts turbo makes a bolt on but you have to find your own pipe fitter for plumbing.http://ststurbo.com/

its also possible the stillen belt driven supercharger could work if you got the time to make the brackets

i found a guy to do some mapping on ecu but he has not got it final yet

At the bottom on that website does that say 2,000,000 yen for this??? that is like almost $17000 for those parts....what is included and i dont know if anyone on this website would pay that...that is the trade in value for some of our cars now

any updates to the ride, i finished my exhaust and they are doing brushed aluminum dash. this stroker kit could be next.
