5 months and a few headaches the basics are completed. id say 50% still to go. this has been the hardest custom job i've done. mainly cause there are no accessories sold. use your imagination to do yours and have fun. ill be posting the next upgrades by september.

man that is SLICK! I like it!

Personally I would have left some of the brightwork on the trunk, maybe just the m45 logo being chrome the rest just like it is.

James:

Can you detail the exhaust work a little further, perhaps with some more pictures? I've been thinking about doing the same thing to my 03 m45, however I have seen nothing out there about it. If you have a clip of the exhaust i'd love to hear that too, both inside and out.

Thanks man,Lance

I'm in love. So glossy...so black...

I agree. I absolutely love black (a lot), but a tiny bit of contrast would do a lot for the rear end.

Very nice, your car is an inspiration. Hopefully next week I will have some photos of my project ready to post. As we speak the FX 20-inch wheels are being installed and the springs and brake upgrade should follow suite. All that is left is to get that stupid stereo done.

Congrats on a great looking car.... stay tuned for another!

I like the look surprisingly more than I thought I would at first blush.

Are those vents in the front fender for real? I.e., do they have real warm air flowing out of the engine compartment?

That is one of the things that bothers me about new cars today. There is so much under the hood that it gets pretty toasty in there!

thats phat mark, nice rims alumminum i presume? did you get the air bags under there? bright colors look so much better with bright accessories.

bright work to my rear??????? no thanks thats the point you see me then you dont. to be honest im working on a full euro style with black handles and drip trim, but, i think the polished lip needs a contrast.

exhaust is flowmaster from the cats back i posted the part number but ill have to find it there is a audio file gimme email and ill send. visit flowmaster mufflers on internet to choose your sound quality. i have not done the rear muffler yet, my exhaust guy needed a break. the two front added a sweet tone at full throttle with no in car sound increase.

hey guys i might have found a computer upgrade with rev limiter increase, speed limiter removal and about +8 HP ill keep you updated.

hey mark i need a blitz power meter sj, can you help me out?

I asked the same thing a while ago... muffler part numbers, costs involved, any other info would be great... a sound clip would be phenomenal too, but the part #'s and costs would be best.

my appologies. i had posted once and now i cant remember where. but, anyway i just redid the exhaust. ill get more pics up soon. ill also have a sound clip, lost my camera charger, waitin on ebay. one thing i can tell you is it is simple. if you go to flowmastermufflers.com you can hear the muffler tones and pick your mufflers. the hard part is finding a good fitter.

ps how do i attach pics i dont remeber how i did the first one

Hell yeah, that thing is SLICK.

The only suggestions I can give are blacking out the side window trim and the door handles. Batmobile that ***** out.
