I stopped by my friends house for a minute and realized your backyard almost meets his. What a small world I guess. Nice matching Infiniti's, haha. I was thinking that you bought the one at a small used car lot in Roselle, I almost bought that one but I didnt like the guy trying to sell it to me. Do you remember your salesmans name?

How much did you get it for if you dont mind me asking. I like the chrome wheels, thats the only thing I dont like about mine. I got mine from Lisle Infiniti last Feb and they were fine but then 6 months later the paint started to peel. I have worked at dealerships for the last 5 years and i know that they like to get things done for the cheapest possible and I know som wheel re-finishers arent worth a crap, it just so turns out the guy who re-finished mine wasnt either.

didnt add three, got rid of one. original equipment was two cats to one silencer to two mufflers to one two in one out muffler. loss a lot of lowend with the two flows and not quiet enough so added reear two in two out.

my camera didnt get the sound good. a friend of minr thought there was a mustang behind him while he was working under his hood. i'm getting another sound clip later

We are here ... just like to try and avoid editing too much! We'd get accused of censoring.

Anyway, let's get this thread back on track. The other questions/posts can be asked in a new thread ...

thanks it was about 250 in pipe work and 200 in flowmaster. i like the flowmaster cause you can pick the loudness you want. beautiful growl inside and low outside. of course of the hook when your foot is into it.

im really considering a sts turbo any suggestions on controling the power as well as do i need low comp. pistons? i see impul made a 5.0 ltr for the g35. i will probably do the 5.0 for my y34 v8 to go with the sts. maybe i should use the g35 pistons if the low comp.?

Personally I would stay away from that type of set up. I seems to work but the efficiency of a turbo system goes down dramatically the further the turbos get from the exh manifolds. If I was going to spend the money I would have somebody take the car and make a one off set up for me and maybe make a kit for others to take advantage of. The 5.1L kit for our Ms looks good but for $15K plus for a stroker kit doesnt seem too feasable to me. There was a newer M45 in last months Modified Luxury & Exotics magazine that had the 5.1L kit and the numbers just didnt justify the price to get there. For 15 grand you could get a complete engine rebuild to your specs and have them build a turbo system around that engine and double the power output. With enough money, though, you can have whatever you want done.Cheers

you may want to look into the setup a lot closer. 9 second 1/4 at 149 is not what i consider a loss. it has also been reorted there is no additional lag which would be the only thing to cause a loss. the asvings in heat cause it is in the rear is a boost in itself.

what do you think mrmark

I liked the brushed aluminum or silver but see the kit doesn't cover the wood up and i dont think silver blends well with the wood and the black....maybe if all the wood was covered with silver...but to each his own...you still have a hot ride...i did my interior also...posted on another thread...keep up the work

the wood is so minor i think it blends well. besides the clock and tape are silver as well as were the door handle trim. they had the wood but its to hard to match wood grain and color. this kit is REAL aluminum from mimousa. the kit doesnt come with pieces to cover wood.

whats your thread so i can see your ride, thanks for the props

I'm not far from Hoffman Estates, I'm west of Elgin in Gilberts. I have a 2003 M45 that I'm working on. If anyone form the gets a meeting together I'd love to see other Ms. I have only seen one in my area so far.
