Dude, you guys could have just seen my post above from along time ago when I answered this problem with the EXACT same solution. For some reason bad injectors act really odd in our cars.... Dunno why. They just do. Find the bad one go to advanced auto and pay $60 for a new one, or just use it as an excuse for an upgrade like the guy I quoted did...

As for removal/install, search, I found all the directions already posted in the archives. And trust me, it sucks. DON"T BREAK THE CAP WHILE REMOVING IT OR YOUR SCREWED. Trust me I did and it made it 50x harder along with the stripped phillips head screw that holds it in next to the fuel line... All in all, replacing 1 injector took 6 hours because of my having to "invent" ways to get it out. New one slipped in in like 5 seconds.

Your post is actually what made me decide to buy all new injectors.I think it took me 2 hours but that was with eating dinner in betweenhaving the injectors out and putting the new ones in.

That nut holding the fuel rail assembly in below the top side of the assembly was a ***** to take off and put back in. Its probably whatgave me the hardest time.

Thanks for the help though...Any chiltons will tell you EVERYTHING youneed to do when changing injectors. Its really not hard.

I have the same problem, my engine bogs out when I hit 4000 RPM in any gear with the pedal more than half pressed. I have new injectors, pressure regulator, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, pcv, cts, MAF, etc. It also misses at idle and it idles high at 1400 RPM. It idles at 750 if I disconnect the TPS, or if I disconnect the AAC/IACV/IAA what ever you want to call it, lol. Cant figure it out. please help
