for the brakes....you could end up spending less than me.... the whole front brake package for me was 1500.... the reason you'll probably end up spending less is because some of the hardware sent with the package wasn't required for fitment on our vehicles. You would have to contact Tony in parts department over at "Riverside Infiniti" which is located in riverside california i'm guessing.... if you speak to him... you can tell him, you don't need the brake lines they don't conform to our vehicle, the dust covers it's up to you, i didn't feel like taking off the wheel bearing assembly to bolt it up, the stock cover is smaller but fits fine with no rubbing or anything. I reused the oem rubber hoses and banjo bolt, banjo bolt needed a little mod to fit properly by use of washers, it was too long for the g37 caliper, while tightened it had a little play because of length. i'll take some pics soon when i take the wheel off and show you guys what i mean. All i really used was the calipers, rotors and brake pads. I also needed to get these little lock clips that hold the retainer pins on the top of the caliper, that holds the pads in place... i used some lock clips from a brembo unit which were bigger, required a little mod by drilling them out one size bigger with a drill bit. I think tony forgot to include these, but no biggie... jus remind him if your order this way you don't have to drill out anything... the entire install took like 1 1/2 hour removal, install and bleeding brakes. pretty simple setup... brakes feel less sensitive than the oem setup, but feels linear and firm as the pedal depresses further. here's a link to the g35 forum where this guy used this setup on his g35s http://g35driver.com/forums/sh...08735

for the headlights.... i baked them to loosen the sealant.... the sealant nissan uses is super strong, it hardens like plastic if you take too long to take them apart...after they were apart, i removed the orange section, then sanded the chrome housing, it was easy since it comes apart from the reflector housing... then spray painted wit a duplicolor metallic black that i purchases from autozone, left them to dry for couple hours, then i cleaned out all the old silicone and applied some new rtv/silicone, let that dry for about an hour then i reinstalled.... i am gonna attempt these on the back lights also, when i get some free time one of these weekends.... thanks everyone for all the compliments and looking into my post.

Sorry question off hand why do you need 19" wheels It looks like there is more then enough space if you had 18's ....... or am I sorely mistaken??? I am sure I maybe wrong here but can someone enlighten me why?

Love the BBKs and the head light mod! Looks freakin awesome! What year g37 did you use? and will this work on the 08 coupe since you did yours on a sedan.

i am guessing it should fit the coupe... to my knowledge the coupe and sedan share the same brake configuration.... my friend might do this brake setup soon on his 08 3.5se coupe... the kit was from the 08 g37 sport, which is am oem part on that model... thanks for the compliments on the headlights too.

only the fronts...when the rear wears i'll get em... i would figure find out if the coupe and sedan shares the same front spindle assembly part number... i would guess they would fit since the same ap racing kit fits both sedan and coupe... just a speculation...

sorry... no update yet.... my friend never got around to purchasing his bbk for the coupe... but i think it should work....go to the nissan dealer and ask for the front brake caliper and disc part number for the sedan and then for the coupe compare em... should be the same.... the ap racing bbk works on both sedan and coupe... they share the same part number... meaning all bolt holes should line up perfectly if you were to swap the bbk from from a sedan to a coupe without modifications....hope this helps.

Love the headlights. What do you have in the fogs for yellow bulbs or what?

There may not be need to modify anything. I only added washers to the oem banjo bolt because its a little too long for the g37 caliper. Some of the guys on here purchased shorter banjo bolts. The brake setup is holding up very well, still on original pads and rotors. In my opinion the service life of the pads are longer because the system runs alot cooler than the oem setup. I'm still on the OEM rears and i haven't yet upgraded that to the g37 dual piston setup. The caliper bolts up, no need to change the dust shield because it does not interfere, bleed the brakes and your fully functional. I would say check with g35parts.com because they seem to have the best prices. You can reuse the oem caliper bolts, brake lines and dust shields. You only need calipers, rotors and pads. Depending on your driving habits if you need a more aggressive application you can even mix and match where you get the calipers and buy the rotors, pads and stainless lines elsewhere if need be. If you have any questions you can contact me via e-mail [email protected] as i check that more frequently than the forums.
