So here is my sad story..Yesterday I got my roof overlay. I was exited..first Im installed lid overlay, then I decided to go for roof, roof overlay is actually 2 pieces, I start to apply 1st left piece and then OMG.......somehow end of overlay (sticky side) touch another "sticky" side of the same piece, when I was trying to detach them............ no way, I tried harder and......rip it....My suggestion is... if u dont know how to do it right dont do it at all or get someone who knows how to do it, dont b silly like me...so no roof overlays pics sry, by the way bat mention on this forum that he is got new style headlight lid overlay, but i've got regular one.

Damn, you should've asked before ripping your roof overlay. When Ryan the installer installed the roof overlay on my car those same pieces stuck together and he just sprayed it with some window cleaner and it unstuck.

It looked good from the front, but with the side view I didn't like it as much.

I still would rather have fiberglass or plastic eyelids than overlays... Blue Batmobile, do you have the eyelids in winterfrost? And if so, could we have a picture? Thanks

I just read the whole thread and enjoyed the design of the eyelids. Is there any way I could get them? They remind me so much of the G37's curve and angular headlights that look very aggressive.

Thanks!

Ok so for a custom one i gotta believe hes gonna want more, and whose to say you will be satisfied with the result, i mean they are hand made... idk im just kinda confused on how everyone doesnt like them... i mean im not really concerned with anything other than having it look like the body, and cover that amber portion of the headlight... and this does that... They should be here tomorrow...

You made different from the ebay seller and Mcdeddi? I definitely want to see shots.

I just want eyelids that would shape the lights to look like the G37. :p

Hey guys... so i got the eyelids in today... They are def hand made... Heres a picture of it just laying on the light... (i didnt want to close the hood on it bc its not adhered down and i was afraid it might crack)...I am very excited now because i have these, and my 2 Xentec 6000k kits (2nd one arrived today too).. to put in the car... with the injen on the way...

So imagine that yellow corner as a LED or white bulb... because thats what it'll be

Can you still see some yellow from the side? If so, does it look out of place? Looks great so far!

Well judging from Bat's vinyl overlays(which basically does the same job)... yea, you can still see the yellow. It looks a LITTLE akward... but I still rather go this route than leave that ugly *** orange there uncovered.

I agree. It does seem that Nissan at least made the yellow look slightly more aggressive (at least more like eyelids) than they had to.
