POP?? or soda?

ok im from ohio, i say pop instead of soda or coke or wahtever. does anyone say this in other parts of the country?? cuz anywhere i travel to if i say pop, they look at me like im speaking greek (esp the south, GA FLA) i think its amusing because its totally normal to me. if you say soda around HERE we will look at you funny

Dude, down here, it don't matter if it's Pepsi, it's still Coke.

Nah. You say you want a Coke and they get you Coke or Pepsi, usually. Every once in awhile they'll say "we only have Pepsi," to which you can say "you know what I meant," if you're feeling like a jack***. But "that works too" is a safe answer.

However, being this close to the headquarters, not many places have Pepsi products around here (though that's slowly changing, cause Pepsi is better).

i was down in stockbridge recently, and whenever id go out to eat id always ask waht pop they had hahah even tho i dont drink pop

At school(in Cleveland), people argue about this all the time. Us New Yorkers say soda, but you weirdos in Ohio say pop.

Silly Virginians. I still refuse to say "soda" because it makes me sounds like some southern moron. I just name what I want--Pepsi, Mountain Dew, etc.

no, when i used to have to push carts at the grocery store were i used to work, i would always buy a big K grape soda, it was damn good stuff, and for 35c, it couldnt be beat!

It's always coke, if they only have pepsi then we default to dr. pepper, thats just how it is. It doesn't matter what a person has in their fridge, they WILL ask you if you "want a coke or anything?" if they are neighborly!

Also, the absolute BEST orange soda is Wal-Mart's Sam's Choice brand.

i got a better questionshopping cart or buggyI live in the dirty south, so at the grocerie store i work at people call the shopping carts buggies, and it makes me want to punch them in the face. That is the most annoying thing
