POP?? or soda?

I've always said soda, when i went up to toronto though all they guys in my class(from all parts of canada and the states) all said pop or soda pop.

we're lazy around here, we tend to just say coke...

could also be that Atlanta is relatively close and Coca Cola more or less dominates the south...

Anyone who says pop just sounds like a yankee to me, mainly because they are. Generally talkin' like that down here just gets funny looks and can get you attitude because "You ain't from around here".

if you check my post for the "hypothetical question" thread, the girl i wrote about (from michigan) said pop and i thought it was the hottest thing!!!! course' it just could've been her!!!!!!!!
