Nissan quality is bad enough 3-4 years into a model year........1st year is hell.

However....I did own a 89 240 sx new....The quality was much better back then
Why should this be the price to pay for a new car?

I can understand a few things here and there that maybe they can't figure out until enough cars have enough miles in different weather conditions, like creaks that only show up in some cars at -20F.

But, this should not be the case for static in the speakers and headliners falling out and breaking, and airbag sensors not operating. That last one is an actual safety issue, not just cosmetic. This is just standard quality control problems that should not be acceptable. The general public should not be used for quality control.

Hey Man,

I have to say that while I am sure your car problems are frustrating, they seem a bit trivial. Trim? Warning lights? Come on! Does your car "go"? Yes? My prior car was a Jagaur, and you have no idea how poor made a car can really be...interior, exterior, engine, everything...

I only have like 700 miles on my coupe, but the rattles and squeaks around the dash and sunroof area when going over bumps is so %@#$ annoying. Is there a fix for this without taking it to the stealership?
