WHAT?
Seat levers are by far the best. You just go to the position you want to be in while driving, pull the lever, and the seat adjusts to YOU. I hate knobs.

the knows are screw adjustment where as the lever is more of a ratchetting kinda thing.

the knob allows for precision adjustments damnit! when you pull the lever and let the seat back come to you, in most cases it's gonna go back some before falling into the locked position. Knobs just stay there.

My seats are powered, precise, and don't require thirty minutes of twiddling for a major adjustment.
Also I have back doors to get in the back seat.

Even non-powered, though, I definitely prefer levers. The one exception is seat-bottom height adjust. MB gets both wrong. Knobs for recline, levers for seat height. To raise or lower the seat you pump it like a bicycle tire. And anyway, isn't MB supposed to be a luxury brand? The car already weighs four million tons; three extra pounds per seat for motors won't hurt anything.

power seats are retarded heavy and just something else to break....

knobs are awesome for the seat back. I just don't let anyone more the seat back on my Civic.

If I was driving a Miata or an Elise or something made from lots of carbon fiber I might care how much my seats weigh. And if I was driving any of those cars I wouldn't be inclined to complain about how to adjust the seatback, since it wouldn't be moving anywhere anyway.

But in a 3600 lb "coupe" I don't think a couple power seats are too much to ask for. Especially not when the suspension sucks, the transmission sucks, the steering sucks, and the power's lacking. It's not like there's any performance being hampered.

Heavier seats actually aren't the worst place to have weight either. Very inbound on the car, so it doesn't really affect your moment of inertia in a very negative way (for handling purposes).
