ah u would think the "hint hint, wink wink" would've sufficed but alas i guess me not putting what i own in my sig gets the best of us....................or you could see here:

i'm not an idiot to just go off on statements but there were some said that were just not true. yes i am fully aware of what MSRP means as i obviously dealt with it. nothing you said has gotten me cranked up at all but i guess you think i'm pissed at ya or something? trust me man, i'm merely trying to get the facts out there, nothing more.
as for general intent and literal interpretation, a few grand makes a big difference when it comes vehicle prices. hell a few grand equates to another vehicle. yes your in the ballpark but like i said, just trying to be a bit more accurate. as for the comment about the markup and rebates, there were only markups on these cars during the 2004 run and even then, those markups only lasted 6 -7 months after inception. believe it or not, pricing really didn't kill these cars..................purely marketing. as said earlier, a brand new 2004 GTO was selling for 22K new when the 2005's hit the dealer. as for profit margins, not really sure what to say. no one except the accountants could tell you whether or not the run was profitable. they did announce that it was only going to be a 3 year run as soon as the 2004's were out but honestly there's not much they could've done to cut down costs. the car only had 2 options from factory................auto transmission (extra 800 bux) or the 18" rim upgrade (extra 500 bux).
ok so back to the g8,
