I like those nismo's, they have a sort of old school drift look.

I would of voted for the Nismo's, but 7 inch wide wheels have FAIL written all over them.

If his car is turboed, but I doubt it, so those would be wide enough for 160hp.

Do it right or do it twice. I think you decided to do it twice.

I searched those nismo's under pictures, and I saw a lot of skylines and s14's rockin them, and personally they looked mint.

wide wheels help other aspects besides traction from a launch. handling would be much better with a 9" wide wheel over a 7"...assuming you can mount a wider tire. unless he wants to be able to break traction and look cool. anyway, i voted mb's.

Yes, but the ones you see on Skylines and other 240s, are wider. 7" wide LMGTs are going to look like butt.

Picking the right wheels is much less about face style, and more about fitment. The LMs will fit very poorly, while the MBs, should flush out rather nicely.

And please stock calling them "rims", they are not chrome, nor are they 20" or taller.

I vote mb's but the offset you are choosing sucks, go with the +17 all around.

I guess no one wants a 17x10+20 wheel with a fat lip that looks like that LMGT4 but better for $140...

The silver sc wheels you linked are pretty slick for the price. Good size and offset. Tires go up in price for that width, though... unless you squid stretch.

At least they aren't 18's. Prices for 18's are rediculous compared to 17's. At least you'll have the option of running 275 or 285 tires if you want to. But I like how a 255 looks on a 10 inch wide wheel. I dig subtle stretches.

Also, tire price will be determined by your purpose for the car and the level of grip you want. For a daily driver, I'd have absolutely no problem getting those 17x10+20's and wrapping them in some crappy 275/40 Nexens for like $90 a piece.
