I had the combo I suggested above on my car when I sold it. This was on 16s. With 17s the gap is even less.sideways-24-7 wrote:im looking for a low sleek look without that ugly wheel gap and comfortable not too bumpy. don't want it too low that it scraps everywhere i go. help me out yall.
right. It makes no since to put suspension made for circuit racing, or racing period on a car that's not going to be used for such a purpose. Unless you have an abundance of money, and don't mind it depreciating upon investment. Other people have bills and gotta eat.kamikazestorm420 wrote:not everybody needs coilovers.
True, not everyone needs coilovers, but why spend $500-$600 on springs and struts. When you can add $100-$200 more, to get decent set of adjustable coilovers. Also a lot of people with the lowering springs aren't fully satisfied with the 1", 2" drop either and eventually go with coilovers anyways.kamikazestorm420 wrote:not everybody needs coilovers.
right... cuz street coilovers are meant for the circuit racing too huh...Moon Ill wrote:

for that price, you can get megan streets. it has better spring rates, 32 way adj. dampening, pre-load, and camber plates... all of which aren't included in Tein basicsE7-S14 wrote:if you must buy spring and shock setupbuy Tein Basics instead..you can get em for around 700-800 bucks
he clearly doesn't want a coilover with characteristics of a common coiloveradrians_s13 wrote:for that price, you can get megan streets. it has better spring rates, 32 way adj. dampening, pre-load, and camber plates... all of which aren't included in Tein basics
Yep I agree. For that much I'd go for Megan Street Coiloversadrians_s13 wrote:for that price, you can get megan streets. it has better spring rates, 32 way adj. dampening, pre-load, and camber plates... all of which aren't included in Tein basics
people get shocks and springs because its cheaper, and if its meant as a DD for the streets, not everybody wants a stiff ride. they want a lower stance without sacrificing much comfort.S14toRPS13 wrote:
