Pulled over on sober grad night. Reason for pulling me over was my turn signal was on to long. Made me toss my keys out the window, the whole shabang. Made me roll down all windows and he searched. Asked me what I was doing, "Going to sober grad sir. Just getting a permission slip from my friends house." He suddenly realized how much of a douche bag he was being and hasn't pulled me over since.

about a year ago, i was leaving my Gf's house, i was going the speed limit, not accelerating excessively i spot the cop car at the Ace hardware parking lot. as i drove past i notice him following me. a little more down the street, he turns on his lights so i pull over wondering WTF is goin on. i get out my license, registration, and sticks out my hand to give it to him....he tells me..."man...your car is dirty, i cant even read your plate." he asks me to wash my car and have a great night...i call everyone i know and tell them to cover their plates with mud and drive around......that was hella funny....BTW that time of the year rained mostly everyday.....here in hawaii winter season rains a lot....

Of all the times I've been pulled over nothing pisses me off more than getting pulled over for doing nothing wrong. I honestly have a stack of bullsh*t warnings slip somewhere. But the other times like the "illegal racing" they tried getting me for, or me doing 98.3 in a 55...THOSE were interesting times.

The illegal racing one was me and a friend were going a little fast around the corner to his house, going to be 5 points and 6months no license. It was reduced down to reckless driving (3 points and $120 fine). I asked the judge what the definition of racing was, and he asked if I tried to pass. I said no sir, but will admit that we were acting like fools and going a little fast. at that time it put me up to 5pts on my license.

And the other, I got off because it was entrapment, which honestly I think they should be able to setup some traps. When anybody sees a cop they stop anything stupid you're doing. I was almost to the exit till he caught up with me. He was cool headed but stern in the fact he joked saying he had to re-read the radar when he saw my POS fly by. I don't know about your guy's states but in PA, an officer has to be visible to other drivers on approach when doing a speed trap. Which I said I did not see him and said i was willing to point at the map as to were he was. There was only one place he could have been. Behind these trees on a non-existent off ramp, behind the trees http://maps.google.com/maps?hl...,13.5 5 point again and loss of license with a hefty fine was reduced to 3 points and $75.

Ultimately giving me 8 points which the max is 6 points. I had to take a multiple choice test at the dmv to get 2 points removed, and did.

Getting out of those tickets pissed the officers off a lot. but since that last one, they realized that I know the local laws and know a good number of the officers are crooked and profile certain people/cars. Apart from me acting like the occasional jackass, I do no harm. I am also no dummy, I looked up the local traffic laws and I bend them as such. For another example, there's no law stating i cannot mod my exhaust, It has to have the essentials though. Needs to be in good condition and have a cat (or cat-looking) on it as well.

This city is soo crooked, it's all who you know also, so I made nice with the judge.

I was pulled over twice for my exhaust in one day and got a fix it ticket, and once for having yellow headlights <<< my headlights were not yellow, then the cop accused me of being high because my eyes were red at 1am. He had me do a bunch of other crap to test if I was high<<< none of which made any sense and started to frighten me. I ended up changing the topic to me being an EMT and my brother working for the sheriff department. He let me go after I changed the topic

hmm i'm not sure who told you that but it isn't true. maybe for your particular area, but not all of pa. there are small clearings in the trees along rt 222 were cops duck back in and wait for you, perfectly legal here.

We these are some of my encounters with the Police. With that these stories are NOT forged.

I was on a first date with this girl. We left the bar after having a couple of drinks. I ended up in a Bonton parking lot off of a major highway, I preceeded to smoke the hell out of the parking lot. As I drove off I wanted to see my art work that I just made, so I turned around. As I look in the rear view mirror I see the lights, THEN in front of me 2 MORE cops came up to me. A total of 3 cop cars with about 5 cops total. Long story short I left that night with NO TICKET. When I was talking to the cop I said " So how was it" he replied "I've seen better" I then asked him if I could have another try. True Story

Next was another night when I was comming back from a Christmas party. I stopped at WaWa to get smokes. When I was leaving I pulled out sideways, and sure as crap there was a cop around. The cop asked me if I had anything to drink and I said I had a couple . I got a ticket for something stupid, but drove away that night. Cop was a very nice guy. Once again True Story

Next this one happened about a week ago. I was comming back from the ER (metal in my eye). I got pulled over from a cop that was going the opposite direction. I saw him turn around, so I just pulled over and waited for him. He ran my license and found out it was suspended, I didnt even know it was. And my car was a month past inspection. After I explained why it would be suspended (had a Deleware speeding ticket) He says "I'm not going to tow your car, and I'm leaving going in that direction( pointing the opposite way I was going)" I left that night with NO TICKET. BTW My license wasnt suspended, because Delaware screwed something up in my paperwork, but showed up as being suspended. Yes once again another True Story

I've had multiple speeding tickets, 2 tickets within 2 weeks for a total of 8 points, But got out with no points, and one of the tickets "disappeared" Yeah it pays to know people.

I have pretty good luck with Cops, just dont give them a hard time and show them some respect. Oh and be honest.

Can anyone legitimatly top these???? If I can remember any other ones I'll post them up, but these are the only ones worth remembering.

If I lied about any of these stories I hope I get killed by a Semi-truck tomorrow.

I have a kind of funny one. I was in my 89 lebaron coupe and it was a really foggy night. I work night shifts at walmart so I was on the way to work. I was only going 30 in a 35 because of the fog and then this set of lights rushed up from behind me. I couldn't recognize it as a Crown Vic for sure but it had the right headlights so I kept going the same speed. He tailgated me for about six blocks so I sped up to the 35 to get him off my bumper. He speeds up and sticks to my bumper for another six or so blocks. So I slowed to 20 thinking he would pass if he was just in a hurry. Nope..Slowed to 20 and stuck to me. Tired of it I zipped back up to 35 waited for him to catch up, then tapped my brakes hard when he caught up. Lights flipped on so I pulled over. Handed the license and insurance out the window before he got there. He says he stopped me for erratic driving and being suspicious. I told him I thought it was just someone tailgating me in the fog and I had given him every chance to go around. Then I noticed the huge coffee stain on his pants. The brake tap scared the crap out of him apparently. He ran my license and didn't find anything.Called another cop in and the other guy was clearly stifling a laugh at the stain . I left with no ticket because he really WAs tailgating in bad conditions. He had to get in the last word though telling me he COULD have charged me with reckless driving for the brake tap.

First time I was high as s***, driving in a residential area, completely lost at like 3am. I got pulled over, handcuffed, put in the back of the cop car. They searched my car and found a little bit of weed I had and my fake ID. I was laughing my a** off in the back because I knew they had no probable cause (didnt smell like weed, had drops in my eyes) to search. They told me they checked the VIN on my dash when I was parked and it didnt match my plates. I did a dash swap and forgot to remove the dash VIN. All other VIN's on the car matched my plates. They knew how f***ed they were and gave me back my weed and fake ID, apologized and left.

The second time I got pulled over for having a headlight out. I got a no insurance ticket too. They pulled me over 4 blocks from my house, so I drove home and fixed the bad ground on my light. I drove back down to where the cop was and showed him, he signed off my ticket. Most BS thing ever, I still have to pay the fix-it ticket fine.
WHAAT THEY GAVE YOU BACK YOUR WEED?!

When I had my RHD sileighty last summer (which I was only driving for 3 weeks before my insurance policy got cancelled for having a JDM vin # and exhaust), I got pulled over by a YRP Van.

I was on Woodbine (south of Major Mack) on my way to work (HWY 7 and Woodbine). It's POURING rain, and I'm driving the speed-limit, maybe under, in the right lane, shifting at 2.5k. All the sudden the police van pulls behind me, and puts on the cherries. I pull over immediately, and pull out my license and registration.

Two cops get out of the van, and approach both sides of the car. Of course I get a dirty look for sitting in the RHD drivers seat, holding my momo steering wheel. I ask the police officer why he pulled me over, and he told me it was because my exhaust was too loud. Granted, the exhaust was veeeeery loud (no cat, full blitz system), but the way I was driving it from the moment I left my house, until I got pulled over, it really wasn't screaming (again, shifting at 2.5k, in the pouring rain).

So I tell him that the car is for sale (I point to my HUMUNGOUS "FOR SALE" sign covering the back window), and mention that my insurance policy expires at midnight TOMORROW (which was true), and that I sort of realized I bought the wrong car for driving to work everyday, and that I realized I should just sell it - told him I hadn't even gone for emissions yet. Cop says he'll be back in a minute.

Now, an undercover pulls up, gets out of the car, talks to the cops in the van for 10 minutes, then he leaves. At this point, a buddy from work pulls up beside us and asks if every thing's alright, I give him the "I'm getting bulls***ted look", and he chuckles and heads to work.

So now, the two cops come up to me again, and tell me they're going to do a roadside vehicle inspection (after me telling them I've already passed safety, and showing them the papers). I forgot to mention, the first time he told me to shut the car off, I did, and my turbo timer plays this little jingle for 30 secs. while it counts down to shutting off. He gives me a dirty look and says "didn't I ask you to shut the car off?" I respond saying "Yes sir, I did - the car has a turbo timer to allow the engine/turbos to cool down properly, see? It's at 21, 20, 19...". So he just gives me a dirty look.

So now he's actually doing the inspection, which consisted of inspecting every piece of glass for 5 minutes to make sure there were no cracks, searching for the vin #, asking me to turn my wheel to full lock on both sides, inspecting my tires, my rims, my brakes, and probably made sure the TEIN sticker on my car was straight. So now he makes me turn the car on, pull up my e-brake (which I did and then he gets in the car and re-pulls it up himself), and then says, "OK, hold your car at 3,000 rpm while I count to 10" ....the F$CKER makes me try to drive for 10 seconds while holding the e-brake up, im like WTF!!

So now, once again, he tells me to shut the car off. I shut it off. 10 seconds later, he gives me a dirty look again, as if I'm ignoring him, and I said "Officer, it's the turbo timer" - his response? "What is this turbo timer bulls***, I don't believe you"...I show him the timer counting down, I'm like "look, 3,2,1, it's off!"... I wasn't being sarcastic or rude either, I was trying to show him how it worked.

So now, he goes to his car, sits there for AT LEAST 25 minutes, before returning. Keep in mind I was on the way to work (luckily I work my own hours, but I was still pissed about wasting time). Oh ya, and he wouldn't let me shut my windows, and it was pouring rain.

So one of the cops comes back, and tells me "you weren't lying, your insurance DOES expire tomorrow at midnight", and I'm thinking to myself DUHH. Then he says "BUT, your temporary insurance slip says August 3rd" (because I had picked up the insurance on July 3rd), however since my policy was cancelled, it expired on August 31st at midnight - which I was completely honest about. So he's like "I know people like you just drive around with expired s***, so you're probably going to try to keep driving for 3 extra days, and you'll show cops your temp. slip" - and I'm like "No, I wouldn't do that, it's not worth it". So he takes my temporary insurance slip, and TEARS IT UP IN FRONT OF MY FACE!!! WTTFFFFFF

I respond saying "now what do I do if I get pulled over on the way to work from here to my office, or on the way home, or any time tomorrow". Office responds saying "Well, I guess you'll have to drive to Stouffville then to pick up a new slip for the next 24 hours, won't you?"...I'm like WTF that's 45 minutes out of my way, I'm supposed to be at work, BLAHHH (I just kept that too myself)..but I told him I could get pulled over on the way to work from here to the office, he just said "Don't get pulled over then."

So there goes my insurance, now he hands me two tickets, one for "illegal muffler" or something like that, and one for "making too much noise in public", or something to that effect. I told him I hadn't passed emissions, the car was going to be parked in 24 hours for good, and that I had realized it wasn't a good daily driver. His response was pretty much enjoy your tickets.

Went to the Tannery in Newmarket to deal with them, the lady ripped them up within 45 seconds. Again, another waste of my f***ing time.

Damn I miss boost though...
