One warning for a tag light being burnt out..that's it! Other cars are a whole other story. Lets just say I'd rather keep my money than give it to the county any more..14 points in 2 years when I was 30 cured me.

um I've only gootn a ticket for speeding but that was in my old geo. I have been pulled over 43 times for a multitude of things but I have been pulled over in my 00 Mustang GT yet.

Best 240 story-

One time I had some friends in the car and they wanted to see the 240 drift, so I drifted an intersection in town at about 2 a.m and then floored it coming out of the drift and took off. I saw some headlights a ways up ahead and thought that they looked like a chevy pickup so I kept speeding up and as I passed the headlights I realized it was two staters and I was doing 85mph....I ran a red light and then stopped at a stop sign. By that time they had turned around so I pulled into a gas station and waited for them. The officer pulled up and said "Sir, did you know that you have a tail light out?" My friends started busting up laughing....

Numerous speeding tickets... just got another one last week. loud exhaust, just stupid s*it. When i first bought my car. it had dark tinted windows on the driver/passenger side. so a cop pulls me over for that.. cop offered me a deal go to court and pay the fine or peel the tint off the door windows.... i peeled the tint..... i didn't want another ticket. didn't have the money for it at the time. no runnin from the law though.

only times i've been pulled over in both my vehicles, tag light being too dim(no ticket, just warning). i really didn't know if there was a limit to how dim they could be... one cop decided to tell me to "take the lens out and clean it, because i couldn't read your license plate until i got a few cars behind you". now i don't know, but unless your superman, or have great vision, you're not gonna be alble to read my plate, until you're decently close.

either way. i guess i'm a rarity. never gotten a ticket... for anything.

the only time ive had a cop talk to me about my 240 was when i was pumping gas and a piggy pulled up behind me and said there was a tag light out, i ended up knowing the cop so no ticket was given, the rest of the cops i havent stopped for, dont need the points or the need to pay the fines

Got yelled at by a LEO for having a tag light burnt out. The only thing was that it wasn't burnt out and it had been suffering from a bad connection. So I marched back to the back of the car, took my fist and hit the bumper square right above the tag. The light flickered back on (as it always did). The officer said, "Well, it looks like it works now, have a nice night."

i got pulled over about a week ago. He asked to pop my hood. i politely popped it to show off my dirty completely stock single slammer. only missing the heat shield over the stock header.

I don't play around with my 240 on the street at all. It's too expensive and too rare of a beast.

I do have some stories from my streetbike days (2003 yamaha R6), though. Stand-up wheelie past a sheriff at 90mph, clocked at 100+ and pulled over on highway 16 in washington state, several chases where I outran the police in my hometown. I was literally on a watch list for the local law enforcement. No tickets, though. Just a lot of stern "talking to" scenarios.

Haha, now that I'm thinking about it, I used to be a total dumbs***. Mind you, I was 17 and 18 at the time.

true story...i get more problems from police when my car is NOT running then when it is... ie: starter going bad, hood open in front of wal-greens and that yields 3 patrol cars and 1 undercover and me in hand cuffs?!seriously.

and all i had in my gutted hatch was a hammer (mexican starter) and 5 bottles of various axe products... guy asked if my 6"3 a** was sleeping in my car.... f***ing boner!

I got pulled over 10 times with my permit...mostly lights being out on different things. After I got license my 240 and my 4Runner had horrible lighting issues and in an area with this many cops I was getting pulled constantly for lights being out, couple of times for light speeding (warning on all of these) One ticket in my geo, my 4runners suspension was whacked from hitting a stump so I got pulled over for weaving quite often. Got pulled over for no front license plate a few times, california stops, exhaust, music being too loud, no tail lights, broken headlights, smashed windshield, no front bumper, no fenders, no brake lights, etc... Now I daily a 2000 Mustang GT so I don't have to worry about any of those things. My 240 lies in wait

If you saw my car, you'd feel bad for me having to daily drive it. I get stopped daily because of they way it looks. I just got a fix it ticket a couple days ago. He had a grocery list of things but was nice and left it at no license plate light.

only things that ever happened to me in my 240 was for going side ways in the rain thanx to my 2 way diff i got a ticket for it when i wasn't even trying to go side ways.

I was looking at a 240 for my girl in a bad part of orlando fl. and a cop pulled me over. He got over the loud speaker and told me to step out the car with my hands on my head and walk backwards to his voice. I did he pats me down and asked why I was there I explained. then he asked if I had anything in the car that he should know about I said no. He walks to my g/f and asked the same questions. He let me go with a warning for my exhaust. Turns out the reason he stoped me was he had a ride along at least thats what I think. The worst part was the 240 i looked at was a chopped up 97 s14 with a rigged r33 front end, and a Yellow maco paint job.

got away from a cop once, didnt want to get a ticket, was speeding about 20 over the limit, he had everything turned off just sitting in the dark, most likely gun was off too, my radar didnt catch it, he turned on his stuff and went, I gunned it, drifted through like 3 corners, gunned it, was going like 70 mph on a private road, ran 1 stop light, then found a private neighborhood turned my lights off and slowly crawled out that area on a highway and I was gone!!! like 30 minutes prior to this I just got done installing new energy bushings, and was testing the car out haha.. Luckily he wasnt close enough to get my plates (I think so, I mean it has been about a month now everything is cool) so I came out clean, but i'm not doing this s*** again for sure..

pulled over twice one for a bad inspections sticker (Emissions 30days to fix it that DAY was 31 and a sunday) then pulled over because the cop was my buddy, and my negro friend was in the car lol right there

Havnt really had much troubles with the law around here. they mostly pull over civic/integras.

only been pulled over once in my s14 for speeding. got a 10mph over ticket. although we both(undercover cop and i) knew i was trippling the limit. Just gotta be courteous.
