Hey NICOnauts - Please offer a warm NICO welcome to Alex Cates, representative for Stillen, one of NICO's newest supporters. Alex will be posting here from time to time, answering questions, and offering NICO members the expertise that only 2 decades of performance modding can offer.

For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past 2 decades, and have not yet heard of Stillen (Steve Millen), here's a little about the company -

In the world of automotive aftermarket manufacturing, distribution and retailing, 18 years is a long time. Many companies that started back in the 1980's are no longer in business. Companies that capitalized on fads & trends in the 90's are history. It takes non-stop persistence in order to continually navigate the cutting edge of trend, style and performance. Add to that a relentless commitment to unsurpassed quality and a large group of dedicated employees. The sum of these parts is STILLEN.

As this year unfolds, they are committed to bring you the best mix of products that they can produce and back it with their 18-plus years of experience and customer service. It is difficult to find quality products at a respectable price. It is almost impossible to find a company these days that will stand solidly behind their products.

STILLEN is proud to be a part of the Nissan Infiniti Car Owners’ website.

Greg what are you hypnotizing these people. The number of sponsors you've gotten onboard so far is impressive to say the least.

Thanks brotha. It's not hard to show companies the value of being with a winner.

When you get 1.2 MILLION hits per DAY, that's a lot of exposure. And if you compare our rates to magazine ad space, it's a no-brainer.

BTW - It's not me man - it's you guys, taking good care of our advertisers. Keep thanking them with your collective purchasing power, because they make NICO possible.

Stillen sucks. they have no love for 240's and they are overpriced. I went to their showroom in costa mesa and everyone was too stuck up to even say hi

They have "no love" for the Stanza or the Datsun pickup either - But that's no reason to be hatin'. They just don't specialize in 240 goodies.

Hopefully Alex from Stillen will pop in here and reply about the "showroom" issue... (as soon as I get his NICO account straightened out, LOL).

Its true stillen doesnt do much for the 240. But i think too many nicoers forget taht this is not a 240 community, it is a NISSAN community. Stillen does lots for NISSAN in general. Maybe having stillen on board will draw some more 300zx owners this way?

welcome to the biggest dysfunctional family on the internet.

I'd like to think of the 240Gen guys as the annoying cousins that ate too many paintchips:D

stick around, you're welcome to our refrigerator.

I'm aware of the full thread. I chose to thank all of 'us' as a collective group. We offer a few items for the 240s, but admittedly, not enough to make everyone happy. There were not that many cars built to begin with, and at the time the demographic for the vehicle didn't support millions of dollars in R&D Expense. Now, I'm affraid, we have missed the proverbial boat.

I rather like the dysfuntionality ... feels like home.

Cheers!

We will forgive stillen as soon as they put out an affordable supercharger kit for the ka. That would give them a section of the 240 market no one else has and in my opinion make a lot of low budget 240 owners very happy. BLA to a SR or kat I just want a few more stable ponys to keep up with the boys at autox.

AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!!!

The KA is a SUPER cheap engine to replace... so a supercharger would erase ANY temptation I might have once had for an SR or CA. Turbo kits are too unreliable... but I'd LOVE to see someone finally step in to the blown KA market!!!!

superchargers and the KA dont mix. there was a guy running a s13 with a blower for a while, but then had issues. ka-t is all around a better thing than a blown one for some reason. Its been discussed, but if stillen could create a supercharger kit for the 240 that actually worked, that'd be tight.
