Please help what is this oil from ?????

Well, I guess fortunately I saw this when having my tires replaced today . It appears it has been going on for a while as the inside of the rim was stained with oil residue
This is a 2009 nissan rogue
This is inside the passenger side well well with tire off
Please help what is the problem ???

Can't see any images.

Can it be brake fluid from a leaking caliper? Have you checked to see if the brake fluid is low?

If it's a driven wheel it could be a bad CV joint slinging grease.
