Hey, I need to know the amps of an '89 240.

I will be looking for a new alternator later today, so please help me!!!

Search NOOB :p

stock 89 240 alternator is 80 amps.

If you are running a sound system or electric fans, may want to consider doing a 110amp quest upgrade (think someone in the thread found a 120-125amp one too):
