can i ask where was it that you ordered the bot retainer from cant seem to find anyone that has one. thanks

It's gone. Completely out of production. There's no way you can get a new one from dealership. This is something you should have if you don't want to lose your precious boot on the highway.

I got mine a couple of years ago when I first learned about it from this vert forum. My car didn't come with it, so I didn't know this part exsisted. I'm going to replace top & top well cover and install this. Sorry, not for sale.

Me too. As long as the snaps were secure it never moved once at highway speeds.

I called my local Nissan dealer here yesterday and the parts counter ppl gave me a ton of attitude bc they said my verts VIN # didnt match up with the reg 240sx VIN I told them it was universal for all verts and he used his "oh rlly mr. smrt guy, I say Bullshot" voice that he would look it up without a vin. Then he quoted me $650 for the boot next time I will try and be more pleasant but if anyone is desperate for one I can pass the number along to you or order them if they try and jack you on the shipping.

sounds like that at the dealer near my house.they ask for vin# but i tell them im upgrading what would you need my vin# of my car help you if im looking for something from another car.they stay shut,and help me. .and the dealership will alway rip your pockets
