Now that the weather is starting to clear up, I am planning on getting my H-Techs installed.

I'm currently installing my Brakemotive rotors and freshening up my calipers with some black paint.

My question regarding lowering my car: Is it okay to use my stock suspension?

Ok cool..

In the past I had a Nissan Maxima with KYB shocks and Eibach Springs. It was a nice ride but extremely stiff!! Not good for a big city with potholes!

I just wanted to know if the car will still ride nice with stock shocks and Tein's H-Techs.

yeah - wont be too bad; our cars are heavy as hell - might be a bit soft for what you are used to... but everything will be fine, she'll stay fairly neutral

post some pics after you put them on because the last guy that tried to put h-techs on an AWD had some issues with the rear being much lower than the front.

Dam I just read this. I don't know what to do now. At the end of the day, the car is leveled right? If I have some weight on the rear (gas, luggage or 2 fat friends), would there be rubbing against my tires?

Also, is there anything else I should consider installing when the springs go in? I seen SPC arms were mentioned in the other thread?

H-Techs installed. The car looks great. I filled up the tank yesterday too and I don't see any sag in the rear.

I'll take a pic and post it. Just show me how to post again. I'm bad with that stuff.

how long have they been on the car? have you driven around with them enough for them to have settled? your wheel gaps look pretty even.

It's been one week now. I probably drove 100+ miles this week. I'll keep an eye on it. But even when I filled the tank it was sitting nice. I was on the highway yesterday and I seen it was handling nicer too.

Looks good. Make sure to get the alignment after a couple of weeks.

Thanks JMC. I didn't know the alignment was necessary for our cars.

I just got an upper control arm installed on my car (driver side) and a wheel bearing (passenger side).

No BS guys, the H-Techs are sitting just fine since I got them put on. The rear is NOT sagging at all.

Any other pics?

Looks like I might have to buy me a set.

What size are the wheels and tires?

No other pics at the moment. I just had taken the pic for you guys to see the gap. Not the greatest pic, I'll eventually post another one.

Wheels are 18's. I think 245/45

I'm looking at getting the 255 40 19 Hankook Ventus S1 Noble 2 for my OEM Sport rims.

Want to see if the HTechs will fit with no issue.

I wonder why Tein lists them as M35 only, I would like to put them on my M45. I just sold and installed a set of these with brand new Bilstein struts in my buddies IS300 and I loved the ride with that combination. Eibach lists theirs as M35/45 so obviously they are interchangeable.

I don't know why they list them as they do. But I've had the springs on for a little while now and I can confirm...NO rear sagging. Car does handle nicer on higher speeds and on turns as well. I'm going to slap on my old rims though. At 80+ mph the car does shake with these aftermarket rims.

the stocks are 18" and so are the aftermarket.

Man, I'm very happy with the new look to my car. Painted stock rims black, painted tail lights black and grill black. I never thought my stock rim would EVER look nice. I'll put up a pic soon.

OP did you get hub centric wheels or rings for your aftermarket set up? That could be causing your unbalance feel above 80

They just put those plastic rings.
