I clocked the compressor housing (but it will not work in any other position than what it's in due to bolt pattern)and it's in the same position, but strangely enough I can get the elbow over the AC line now.

Now my problems consist of taking off the fuel rail, and hooking up my I/C and trying to find the $$ to get my exhaust made.

But really though, how do you get the rear side of the fuel rail (near the firewall) off? is it just that one 10mm bolt I can't reach or is it more involved than that?

a little off topic.. but a question for u florida guys. i just bought a s13 ka-t from a kid here in sc, supposedly it was built by backyard productions (miami or tampa i dont remember) or something like that. wondering if u guys knew anything about the shop or the car. its a red hatch, carbon hood, 62-1 turbo, custom topmount, custom intake mani., haltech e6k, and i think 850cc injectors, the kid said it was 9.3:1 and like 330hp @15psi and 425@25psi. just trying to verify info and learn about setup, etc.

thanks guys!

Almost done, just need to get the battery installed since the piping is in the way.So when we gon tune it Justin? I mean I still need to get an exhaust made up but I wanna get as far as I can.

What small (read:tiny) bacan you guys recommend? got a sealed deep cycle battery and that is still to big to fit between the I/C pipe and the tray...I'm looking to relocate the battery but I need a longer cable. so if I don't get a cable long enough I just need to find a battery small enough to fit between the radiator suppourt and the strut tower lengthways, and have enouhg power to run my radio and accessories while I'm driving along.of course it can't be too expensive yinno?

I'm out! Sorry for any misspellings and lack of punctuation. I had a good bit of everclear and I'm a bit (just a bit) tipsy...

Got it running, still need to relocate battery though. (need longer cable.) ANYWAYS.

Got it started, but once it levels out it loses vacuum then dies. Could one of the hoses (or all) be the reason why? it will run for about a minute, then vacuum goes from -20, to -10, then to 0 and it dies.

I'd like to know exactly what the hoses are for. here's the pics1 is the IACV.2. ?3.? The one on the right I have going to my boost gauge and b.o.v. I know that one has vacuum.

This one sucks in air like there's no tomorrow. If it's blocked off the car dies, and it won't start if it's blocked either. it's for...?

and if it's not these lines, it miiiiight be because it's just dumping fuel since I have the SR injectors on without the SAFC connected or hooked up...

you def need to do alot of cleaning up on that thing and make it representable... looks like my 5 year old did it (no offense). you NEED that iacv hose hooked up... hence what it stands for Idle Air Control Valve. makes sense now huh? you should also put your maf where your bov is and put the bov on the hotpipe to prevent stalling when coming off throttle. that way every amount of air going into the motor is getting metered. just take your time and dont do it half assed. it will def show, and who wants to look at crap. sorry... i took time on doing my kat setup and it def showed....

Dude...calm down. the car is not done, and it's just sitting at my house. My God. If it wasn't for guys like you I wouldn't have little chuckles like this.

I have my IAC hooked up. You guys took too long to reply. Just need to wire up my battery and SAFC.Intercooler is flat black, tucked as much wires/hoses as I could, resprayed the scratched parts of the engine bay, sprayed all the bolts black...etc etc.

me and justin go way back to the days of my s14... justin knows how CLEAN my shlt was.... ill try and post a pic. not hating, just saying from the pics i see on here you should clean things up a bit, and def switch places with the bov and maf.

Well, (just about)everything is set up.I need to have my exhaust made, or I can get a friend to weld an ebay flange to an autozone/advance exhaust piping...or some exhaust piping or w/e. I'm going to see if I can come across the money for the exhaust shop.

Also need to change the return bung connector, it's still leaking. If I can tighten it it'll be cool, but a 90* might work better.

S AFC is wired up, need to input the base settings tomorrow. I initially wanted to switch the bov and maf positions, but I would have had to buy more stuff, cut more stuff, and gone through more headache. It reminds me of my SR this way. I'm used to having the maf on the turbo lol.Battery is relocated to trunk, fused, and I used 0g wire.Turbo timer is installed, set, and great. I love HKS. No boost controller yet since I can't go lower than the wastegate spring pressure now can I?

I'm just sorry you guys had to read through all of my bitching lol. it doesn't even seem like a big deal now that the car is $200-300 away from being drivable.

Where in Orlando are you at? I'm on central Florida pkwy.
