Hey everybody! Some of you know what I've got going on, some of you don't. I am doing a custom VH45DE swap into my '90 240 Hatchback. Most of it is coming along well (slow, but well). I've kept a pretty detailed thread on what all I've got going on; check it out!

BUT it is time I asked for some help. My engine is nearly reassembled and the time will come when I begin putting vacuum and coolant hoses on the car. As I received the engine disassembled, I never saw the paths of the hoses under the plenum. I have searched extensively, but have come up short.

I need to be enlightened! Please help! Any pictures or words of advice are greatly appreciated!

How many of the factory hoses are you trying to keep? If you want to simplify things, a lot of hoses can be removed and plugged. Just trying to figure out your intentions.

TB coolant hoses? Functional EGR system? PCV system? IACV?

I can relate to trying to re-assemble an engine that you never saw put together. I did the same thing, and next time I'll be buying a complete engine!

I only want to keep what's important... not EGR, etc.

I definitely will. I want to cut down and consolidate the mess. I've seen it dones nice on a lot of VH swaps, but there are never any good shots of where stuff goes...
