You've got stock front and rear fenders correct? What kind of camber are you running so these dont stick out past the fenders? I really want to tuck some 16x8s but i dont want to have to roll my fenders too muchpandapants wrote:Old thread.
Funny thing is I was thinking about throwing on some xxr 002's when I get my coils but I have been debating between them and rota RB's I really like the way they both look so hard to choose as you can see I has a white hatch so I may be that someone soon.twi3884 wrote:anyone got a white s13 hatch, coilovers/lowered, 16x8 0 offset, xxr 002?
16x8's are pretty easy to tuck. i think i posted my camber above and i'm running roughly 3 degrees of camber in the front which is the coilvoer maxxed out pretty much and i slightly rolled my rears because my stupid camber bolt was being retarded. haha but ya 16x8 +0 is just about the perfect size without having to do a bunch of stuff to get the wheels to fit^_^ also the amount of sidewall you have will help too. for me i didn't want to stretch but i didn't want the ugly bubbly tire look some 002's have. i'm sure if i had stretched tires in the rear i'd have no problem clearing without fender roll.240_fun wrote:

i was in that same situation haha....but i found xxr 513's they look just as good as rota rb's, and are eaiser to find imoCody240 wrote:Funny thing is I was thinking about throwing on some xxr 002's when I get my coils but I have been debating between them and rota RB's I really like the way they both look so hard to choose as you can see I has a white hatch so I may be that someone soon.
Thanks man, I looking into getting some 002s and like i said i dont wanna roll my fenders but pinching them would be fine. That and i dont wanna run ridiculous camber cuz its a DD. Ill prolly end up running 215/45/16s. My car is lower than urs tho so we'll see how that works outterrell wrote:

ya that's all you should need. and really camber isn't the killer of tires. what kills it is the toe when people lower their cars and don't get everything aligned afterwords. i can tell you that one from experience.i went through a set of fronts in a month. haha 3 degrees in the front is okay for DD. i rock mine for DD and occasional track days. lol it'll also depend on the wear index ur tires have too but it shouldn't be too bad for some normal sport tires. i have kuhmo SPT's and they're fine after almost a year. but ya, 215/45 is what i was thinkin about doing it's just finding tire sizes are a pain. haha ya good luck man! post up pics when you get everything all fitted!^_^240_fun wrote:
