i was short on money so i used the tires that were on the stock rims so i didnt have to get new tires... but i wouldve went with 16's if i was gonna buy tires too

i saw some 16x8=0 on a DA interga. that was freakin amazing! like 5 or 6 degrees of camber, it was enough to make me want one. lol

I bought the 002's off Ebay for $450 shipped, they didn't send me Sportmax 002's. They sent me XXR 002's, they look just like the Sportmax 002's but they're not. Either way I'm happy with them and not sending them back. I test fitted one on the car(front) and it stuck out about 1.5-2 inches(16x8 on 225-50-16). I decided to wait untill I have the money to buy some ZG flares off of a Datsun Z to mount the wheel/tires on the car.<------------(Tein S techs on KYB AGX's) Of course I will take pics.

^yea i believe sportmax changed their name to XXR now so you actually ended up getting the same thing. i prefer sportmax name better...XXR sounds liek some no brand ricey company.

people if already have done it, should lower their cars before fitting wheels. esspecially if playing with 15" or 16" rims. people that don't will notice they didn't get what they want in their wheels.

meaning your car will look wierd and be moon roving.

if you don't lower your car before you pop the wheels on it will look like fail

Yea I just finished checking out their new website, it does sound like a ricey name. Anyone checked out the 513 I've never really seen anyone with them. Looks good IMO.

I love the Sportmax/XXR 002 rims. But i have a 02 Sentra SER SpecV. It doesnt have the Brembo Brake upgrade. So i wanna do the 16x8 with the +15 offset. Yeah i know the will stick out. But how far? I wanna go for that Old School Nissan/Datsun look. I plan on doing fender flares. Not quite sure the tire i'm gonna go with. Probably the 205/50 or 205/45-16. Any suggestions?

... that signature is out of controll

I would like sportmaxx / xxr they have some nice styles but the name and quality are suspect to me.

it seems like a lot of ppl get them now and no one seems to be really complaining about them...i would've gotten the 962's but what drove me away was the bad sizing (17x7 up front 17x9 back +38/35) and the fact they weigh like 25.5 lbs each...i couldn't be happier with my fn01's though, light weight, good quality, and cheap. oh and it looks good.

the 512 is dope, im glad they left something for us in the 5 lug posse.

I would get some 17x8, but I still dont completely respect this brand.

RBmotoring is still the king.

Here some old pics of the 002's on my S13.

I really gotta take newer pics, I've been showing these on here for months.

I love the way the 002's look on my S13, sure they're not Work Equipe 01's or some old a55 Watanabe's but then again they don't have the price tag of those wheels either. I got mine brand new off EBAY for $450 shipped. This is my daily driver and there are a lot of potholes here in Miami and they've held up nicely(I got a thick a55 tire too). I love them, why spend $700+ for wheels that may get jacked anyway?
