I go to school in Raleigh, that's where I am most of the time. During the summer I live in Hampton though. Hit up VA Driven and you'll find out about events that happen locally.

Thanks a lot, I really like them too. I just wish they were a bit bigger in diameter as well as width. Rota makes them in 17x9.5, but the offset is -19 haha. Don't think I'll be fitting those anytime soon

I've decided just to update this thread whenever pictures are taken that I like haha. I know, my stance is mad raked, it looks like a drag car. This is how 225/50's out back and 195/50's up front looks...I think it looks pretty dumb. Parking on an incline doesn't help the look either. Next time I'll go like 215/50 all around. I'm liking the extra ground clearance I have in the back, but 225/50 is borderline too big of a sidewall and the 195/50 up front makes the large diameter stand out that much more. I needed new rear tires thanks to crazy toe out and i was able to get these for cheap.

As fas as upgrades go, I re-did my entire front steering system, as well as got adjustable TC rods. Car handles really well now, I like it. Of course you can't see that in the pictures, but I figured I'd add in some actual info about the car rather than just posting pics.

Thats about it, here is a cool video I filmed to end this post with something more interesting than a still picture.

Like I said in the previous post, I'm just going to use this thread as a place to put pictures. I recently started a 5 lug swap but only did the rear wheels, I have new bearings for the front hubs but just haven't pressed them in yet so I'm still 4 lug up front. The wheels I'm running out back are Mitsubishi Starion wheels, they are 16x8 -10 with a 205/50 tire. I pulled the rear fenders quite a bit so I didn't have to run a lot of negative camber, so now it only rubs under hard compression.

I also attended a drift event this past weekend, it was my first actual competition so I didn't know what to expect, but I ended up placing 2nd! Here are some pictures and videos from the event, I had a blast and have already signed up for the next one haha.

And here are my 2 runs from the final.

The crowd turnout was amazing, Streetwise Drift definitely knows how to host an event. I'm going to try to run all the events in this series, I had a great time at this one and I'm sure I will at the next ones too.

Thanks guys. Englishtown? That's a pretty far drive from Raleigh haha. I want to make it up there for East Coast Bash, it all depends on what I'm doing this summer job-wise.

Thanks guys! I decided to change things up with a new front and sides, the rear needs to be repaired before it gets put on. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it this weekend. 5 lug front should be done soon, I just need to get my rotors resurfaced as well as round up some more drift spares. Paint is scheduled for next month!

I got some new wheels yesterday, they will become my daily wheels and the Starions will be my drift spares. Once I get some good pictures of those I'll post them up, I'm really excited about them. I'll be doing a coolant system flush and upgrade pretty soon, I'll be sure to get pictures of the install to keep with the title of the thread haha.

Nice car man! it looks great! I have always been interested in your car, so I would creep on ignitesoul blog to see pictures of your car lol. Please keep the stock rear bumper on it with the mudflaps.. It looks sick the way you have it right now. Keep up the great work man!

Sides are OEM chuki sides, they are a little more agressive than the OEM Silvia sides, but different than the type x sides. The rear bumper will stay stock, but I'll be taking off the mud flaps and adding something a little more aggressive haha. Paint is coming soon, I think the color will surprise some people ;)

dude i'm going as low as you i swear, do you have much trouble going around town?
and what 5 lug hubs did you use? do you think j30 hubs would work our s13's? if so im going 5 lug next week, period.

EDIT: what camera do you use to take your pics, they look so crisp.

My exhaust is the only thing that is really low, hopefully soon I'll make it to an exhaust shop and have my hangers shortened so the exhaust is tucked up higher. Other than the exhaust scraping, I don't have too much trouble around town.

You can technically use j30 front hubs, but you have to modify them to fit. You have to press in an s13 OEM bearing, have a new bearing retaining ring groove machined in, and do something with the ABS ring. I used N/A z32 hubs for the rear, and up front I'm using 1 Ichiba hub with an OEM bearing pressed in and one re-drilled 4 lug hub. I bought a pair of used Ichiba hubs but one turned out to be bad so I had to go the re-drill route. Here's a picture of it, it hasn't given me any trouble and there aren't any vibrations coming from that side so I trust it. I'd only go this route if you have access to a machine shop and can accurately drill the holes.

As far as the camera goes, a friend of mine is a photography buff and takes all the pictures. I think he uses a Nikon D7000, it's a really nice camera haha.

I think I got the rears for $75 shipped, then the fronts for $150, then I bought 2 bearings that ended up not fitting for about $75, so about $300. The full Ichiba conversion is around $400, so I saved some money but definitely had more headaches. You also need to factor in the cost of rotors, rears were about $40 and I got the fronts cheap from a friend but plan on having them resurfaced at some point, so that will probably be another $40.
