I finally got a chance to upgrade my wheels. I had some nasty 17x7 +42's on the car before, so these are a much needed improvement. As far as being copies of whatever, I know they are Rotas and dont think they are anything else. If I could afford the Meisters, I would buy them. Heres the lowdown;

Yeah, I just took them tonight. The pictures really dont do them justice, the lip looks much bigger in better lighting. I scrambled to get it washed and take pictures before the sun went down.

Sexy, those are the rims that I want to go with. Either those or some Meshies of the same style... Chrome on Black. THey are kinda pricey though arent they? And these have become a bandwagon? I know the Fn1oc <---You get the idea. Have been quoted as a bandwagon but I have only seen like 3-5 tops with them on. I know they are highly looked at but not near a bandwagon yet, IMO of coarse.

Ok, I picked them up for $675 shipped from a guy on zilvia. The tires were $120 a piece from tirerack. Mounting and balancing was another $80, so the grand total is in the $1200-$1300 range. In my opinion, thats not bad for wide, low offset, 4 lug, NEW wheels. I'm happy, but I dont understand how these are "bandwagon" wheels. I've seen maybe 3 hatches at most with them on the internet.

its not that rota's are bandwagon wheels, its that hating on them is a bandwagon

im not a fan of the fake 3 piece look, but theyre not bad, especially for the price

completely better than what you had

Yeah, the fake multipiece style rivet thingies are kinda annoying, but in the dark it's all that separates them from everything other black center/polished lip wheel.

Thanks for all the comments guys, Its good to get some feedback.

I am running Tein Basics right now. I have the pillowball mounts w/ camber adjustabilty and Tein tie rods as well. It needs an alignment.

The dent was from an accident this winter where I barely sideswiped a parked car in an icy parking lot. I raised that coilover a little just to safely clear the fender.

The fenders also needed a slight rolling, but that just because of the ride height.

As far as the look of the fake 2 piece, I know. The pictures make the bolts look way too obvious, the lighting was just wierd. Again, if I could afford the Meister's, I would have bought them. This car needs a turbo.
