Looks rushed. Not really too impressed by the work. It's obvious the firewall was rattle canned (See VIN plate), and the interior looks trashed.

If you're not doing something for functionality at least make it clean.

greeneyes is always blunt in his posts dont take it personally.... but i agree with him and others if your going to do a "rhd" conversion make it look clean... if your that concerned with looks you couldve took the time to clean the engine while it was out.... that single cam is just plain dirty in there... cracked dash jdm dash and chopped interior for no real value is sorta over played

you can still make it look alright but honestly it LOOKS like it only cost 280 bucks

just my .02

truly awesome,

You should do a write-up on how to disassemble the interior compartment, behind the dash. I am planning to strip mine, and place sound deadening against the fire wall

wow, you totally summed up why it looks half-assed. it was done "for the look"

heres the writeup for underdash disassembly:

find the 867 10mm bolts, remove them lefty-loosy, dash is out. enjoy beverage.

yeah, im blunt when i post. im glad youre young and have plenty of time to learn why this was a bad idea. (hacking harnesses, leaving window controls on "passenger" side, no heater, ebrake totally inaccessible with normal movement of the left arm, etc)

i hope you think its totally rad. thats all that really matters in life. thinking things you do are totally rad. im rad, youre rad, we're all effin rad.

i do like one thing youre doing tho. ride height is proper. coils=megan=poo, but at least youre low.

yeah i dont think it was the best idea with the cracked dash and i kinda think you took the lazy way to finish this quickly but its still not bad. go finish the rest of the conversion, i wanna see it.

wuts wrong with the seats u have now? its a stock CA lol not a race car. i think u should work on that first before u start throwin in more cosmetics. ex. intercooler, fuel system, turbo, manis etc.. u have a long way to go before that engine cranks out reasonable HP imo. not bashin u or anything btw, the conversion is looking alot better than wut u started with, so props

OK im kinda lost here?

Initially when i heard the west liked to do RHD conversions i thought it was due to dominant hand issues.i.e Shift with left hand and dominant hand stays on the steering wheel? I was young and had never driven a LHD.

But since i moved to the US ive noticed that driving LHD isnt too much different from RHD especially since the roads are the topsy turvy too. It feels right after about an hour or so.

So why do people do RHD conversions? Im really curious is there some huge benefit, because ive driven both LHD and RHD cars, and my original rational was voided once i move to the states.

Its a lot of work and funny that when we import cars from the states we lose arms and legs trying to convert them to RHD. Yet here people seem to defy logic and do the exact opposite.

Worse still, why do people put Km/H speedos in their cars? And dont try the whole 0 - 100 sounds better than 0 - 60 cuz naught2sixty will always sound better. Thats something ive always been jealous of in the US....naught2sixty should have been my username....damn it.

I wasnt happy with the way it sat as of the first page. But I must say, I am impressed on how it turned out. I'm glad you decided to go back and do things right

stoked for the rest of your build
