Very sexy indeed. You decide on weather or not your going to pipe the wastegate into the downpipe?

Dude, set your goals higher. with 450whp, you should be able to run high 10s assuming you have adequate traction and some good driving skills.

Derek Greaser pulled a 10.85 with 385whp.

Let's just say I have a FULL interior, system (i'll prolly pull my 15" and box out on the runs) and about 200+ lbs. of Bondo on my car from when I molded on my old body kit (originally a show car).....I set my goals there so that if I break them I'm blown away also....u know what i mean?

I know what you mean. I still think you should run better than mid 11s. A friend of mine ran 13.24 in an S14 with a T28 making 260whp and using ET Streets. Your talking 200 more horsepower in your car. Aubrey ran a 12.3 with 325whp. You should run mid 11s easily if you have any driving skills.

Sweet kit, I love it! I see you have an S13.

If you had an S14, I was going to mention a few quirks with the kit for S14 duty, but nevermind!

On a slightly thread-jacking note, anyone know how well the S14 driveline can handle drag radials? I don't want to get slicks, cause i'm afraid something will catastrophically fail.

Well, the wastegate to downpipe tube that they provide that is supposed to be a slip fit was NOWHERE near fitting correctly. So I had to cut and file and hacksaw and huff and puff and get it welded together. This would be the same on the S13, actually, unless I just had a kit that was out of spec for some reason.

Next, the bracket to hold the turbo up that connects the head had a hole that needed to be rounded out to fit properly; not a big deal at all.

The way the piping/underhood is on the S14 means that the hot pipe they supply is too short by a lot, like 4-5". So I had to fab something up.

Also, the intake piping didn't work very well with the S14. The intercooler piping kinda interfered with the air filter. However, I have an S13 intercooler, with the inlet on top of the fender as opposed to the S14 piping which has its inlet on the side. I suspect if you had S14 piping, it would clear just fine.

Really, really minor stuff in actuallity. The rest of the kit came together perfectly. Plugs for the water inlet/outlet on the block, very pretty oil lines. The intake piping seems to be too short, as well. I was having a bad part throttle misfire that turned out to be the MAF too close to the turbo inlet and getting some kinda weird back flow or something. Perhaps the rotation of the flow going into the turbo, i don't know. But, putting the MAF in the coldpipe and making a blow-through setup cured it nicely!

I don't know yet. I haven't been to the dyno as of late. I am, however, running 25 psi all the time with race gas in the tank. It's kinda nasty, but i'm sure there's another 80hp or so to be picked up judging by my trap speed. I mean, it hooks in 3rd, ferchrissakes. Actually, the clutch will slip in 3rd and higher gears with the boost where it is....so, don't get a JWT clutch!

How long did it take to get the kit? I am one mouse click away from buying it, but I'm still having doubts. I'd love to hear updates when you get it installed.

After JGY sends me my fully sleeved block etc, I will be going with this turbo kit. The only exception about the kit that I do not like is that it has no flex section. A trip to the muffler shop before I install it will cure the problem. I understand that their mani's dont crack often but better safe then sorry.

im not too sure on this, but couldnt having an open atmosphere wastegate cause inaccurate o2 readings?
