where do u buy the recirculating hose from? I just find the biggest hose i can find. Stick it inthe hole (hose not big enough) and just use duck tape to seal it around it. Then use electric tape to make it look less chesesy.still holding after 6k miles

Alright my next question is, for those of you that arent recirculated what did u use to plug up the whole or cap the whole off on the intake from where it use to recirculate?

^ funny story, when i bought my car it was unrecirculated. the hole in the rubber intake pipe had a socket clamped in there and the socket was filled with like jb weld. i had a local muffler shop make up an intake pipe and just not put a bung in for it. on another note, after some research teh hks ssqv is easier to run unrecirced since its a pull type as opposed to a push type

I'm running Greddy RS Type 2 recirculated.

You'll need the adapter (remove air horn, replace with recirc adapter.

ALSO, make sure to get the BIGGER adapter, the smaller one chokes down too small and caused surge on mine.

I used a radiator hose from a 95 Infiniti G20 (hey, it was laying around) and it works great. You can see it in the lower R corner of the pic.

For those who have stalling issues on decel, you need a better engine management system.

You can even tape a few layers of duct tape over it and clamp it down on the sides. It'll work until you can find a rubber cap or something nice to put over it. Look at walmart for some rubber soles that go on the bottom of chairs, like a little cup or sleeve, fit perfectly for when I needed it!

I know this thread is old but I have a question and something to add.

I'm having this problem with my atmospheric and stock ECU(haven't really changed anything significantly from stock SR), and I know the SR originally came with a recirc because it's identified as such on the SR service manuel (mine was actually still in the clip when I got it, unhooked and disabled of course).

would this problem not be logical with a stock ECU as it was tuned (from the factory) assuming there was a recirc?

also comment: $3 expanding freeze plug (one of those HELP! pieces from any auto parts store) will fit in the intake hole easily, then as you torque it will expand to plug that hole perfectly. clean and more important, reliable. mine came with a rubber cap held with a hose clam...until it dry rotted and split.

This is a great thread for recirculating. I've been looking all over for how to install the hose into the intake after the MAF. So, there is just an opening sitting there? very cool. What side hoses/hose adapters have you guys used? My engine is getting flooded and stalling. I'm thinking this may help a little. Of course, i will be doing other tuning as well, but I may as well install this first.

Should I be concerned about the pressure not being able to escape from the BOV here? That's the point of the BOV, to let the extra pressure escape (vaccum etc.) So, if I connect it to something else, might it not let all of that pressure out?
Also, did you just stick like a 32mm hose from the BOV (with the converter) to just after the MAF? Or did you reduce the dia of the hose? Thanks.
