This isn't the first time s14 has tried his luck on-line. Maybe this one will pan out.

S-14: I think I said it before, but the 240 looks clean. Nice color.

What size tires are you running?

240gurl, I saw your pic, and yes, you are cute, but I do not resort to picking up girls over the net. trust me, I don't need any more female friends, just offering my help, don't read too closely between the lines, or flatter yourself!

;)

If you wanna hook up and meet the local 240 nutz, then you are more than welcome to. There are usually a couple girls at the meets, I brought one once, but she was so bored, I had to jet early (she's actually in the pic of my ride on the track zoomin by, if you look closely, you can see her). Anyway, I hope I didn't turn you off onto our club or anything, and NO, I'm not trying to pick you up. Just making that clear, although fellas, I've seen her picture and.......

:hitit

hitman, thanks for the compliment man. Everything cool?

:beerchug

I'm running 205/55/16, I believe, not 100% certain (long time since I bought tires). They are all seasons, and sucked crap. My 2 rears are bald as hell, and I totally chewed up my 2, 6 month old Michelin Pilots in the front. Oh well, live and learn.

I like the clean look, I want some nice rims/ rubber and thats it, cosmetically for the outside. My car is seriously underpowered, a VR6 raped me in the straights, those things are quick!!

Care to share any racing stories?

I was just thinking instead of swapping out rims, you'd do well to throw some quality rubber on that bad boy. Some 245/50/16's (my favorite size) in a sticky compound would look SERIOUS on that car. Great for the twisties too. Check the Yoko AVS dB's.

WHOA, will 245 fit my rims? Thanks for the tip, I like wide *** tires, perhaps next season when the track reopen, I will upgrade tires. Know how much they go for, ball park figure?

thanks

Yep - I got my Yoko's for $125 each US. But the Kumho and Sumitomo's in that size are much cheaper (about $85-95 US) and are really good quality. Try tires.com BEFORE you go to TireRack.com.

Based on your pix, I think the 245's are just the ticket. Find a shop that'll mount a couple different sizes, but since there are guys here running 245/45/17's on their 240's I'm positive the 16's will fit similarly.

The rear view with the wider track looks bada$$.

You're welcome to join us on the track anytime bob, I'll take you out for laps, but my car is unfortunately still stock. Suspension upgrades make a huge difference, and its a real good learning experience too. Think you can drive? Test yourself on the track!!!

Don't think 240gurl drags, but she knows about the scene
