WOW!!

Stunning and gorgeous. I love the body kit. I'm not hating but I'm not crazy about the wheels and the rear camber.

you is this Quozzy or whatever weird name you had but changed it? Anyways this is Blitz from VSC...whats up with that forum...they're down till jan 15? wtf? Anyways you're ride is looking really nice. How long did it take to install and what was the difficulty about it. I'm thinking going with the UAS kit.

I also test fitted the rims I bought from Grant Yokotas13 this past weekend and took a crap load of pics. Now I just ordered some tires...what do you think of these tire sizing?

Blitz the fitmment looks pretty good, I'd prefer the wheel lip to be in line with the fender rather than pass the fender, but u can do a "pull" to get it to line up.

I think your good to go with the fitment, I'd suggest you go straight for air suspension like Universal Air.

those wheels look really good on your car, I'm not a fan of black face but it looks very subtle on your Q, actually looks a lot better on your car then it does on Grant's.

All q45's can only be done up in one way, and that one way is to EXTRACT ALL THE JDM - VIP JUICE OUT OF IT.

Car looks bad ***. Not to be the oddball, but the sideskirts could fit the bumpers a little better?? Overall it looks sick though!!

More info on the Airunner...where you get it? how much? who installed etc? Thanks

I got my 2000 Q A.E. delivered on monday night so after the holidays I will post some pics too.

I suggested this a while back but nobody bothered with me.

And Qproject, your Y33 is gorgeous! One of the best I've seen!

Keep up the good work.

That car is nice. VIP Y33's are really beginning to look good to me. I'm not a fan of the camber though. It makes the car look broken. At least to me.

The bodykit is sweet though. Good job on the car. I want to VIP my G50 sometime near the beginning of summer.

a little camber adds to the excitement of the drop. A Zero camber drop is plain boring. that little "tilt" adds more drama, kinda like a drop on steroids....you get it now ?

ahhh ya there u go.

To each his own I guess. Does this camber improve performance? It looks like less rubber is making contact. How's it run in the rain/snow?

How the hell is camber achieved? Do you bend the axles? I've done it in Gran Turismo and it was through the suspension, but I've never been clear on how it's done in real life.

Without some camber, its more executive style than VIP. the camber is a result of getting as low as possible. The camber is achieved through adjustable components on a Y33. S13/s14 toe, RUCA etc...fit on the y33.

VIP isn't all about the performance anyway. haha

Oh. Thanks for clearing that up. I was under the impression Executive and VIP were the same. I think I want my Q to be more Executive then. I just don't like the camber.

Okay this is going to be long. but since we've kinda rolled over into VIP land I'll chime in. Hopefull those of you interested in VIP styling will enjoy this.

Negative camber like tire stretching does have an impact on handling characteristics of the car. Both of these practices tend to get a lot of flack from true performance oriented automotive enthusiasts. But keep in mind that VIP is more about aesthetics than performance.

Adding camber for true VIP styling is more a function of fitting ridiculously (and I mean this in a good way) sized wheels into the wheel well. For example i'm running 19x9.5 +15 all the way around on my car. I don't have any fender work and I'm on coilovers but the fitment of my wheels on my car doesn't necessitate adding camber other than that which was achieved by lowering the car in the first place.

The car in the original post has the benefit of running air suspension which means he can "pose" the car by dumping it and when it's time to drive raise it up and roll with little or no camber at all, thus effectively eliminating all performance impact whether negative or positive.

The "broke" look is extreme but is is also usually associated with cars running massive amounts of negative offset (-15 to -29 on a Y33 for example) along with very wide wheels (up to 13 inches) on coilover suspension. Wheels like this

You may have to run 7 degrees of negative camber and do some fender work to get perfect fitment on a setup like this. Even though I don't think this is extreme some people here may think so. I think this is a good example of making your car fit wheels with great result from the VIP styling perspective. Benji's car....If i recall he was running 19x10s maybe 12s with -29 offset and 7 degrees negative camber. Anyone who can confirm chime in if I'm wrong. Car looks great yeah some would say "broke" but I think its bad***.

This I can truly say does look broke and is extreme, but he's hardcore coilover running JDM VIP and I admire his spirit and commitment to true hardcore VIP style. Wouldn't run this setup myself though...at least not without air.

Heres the clearance this guy is running underneath the car.

I dig negative camber but within reason. I think it is a key component to successfully achieving true VIP style. I know it's not for everyone but to each his own.

Oh btw to answer haitian's question, you can achieve additional camber by adjustment of the rear upper control arms out back on the Y33 not sure but I believe the G50 has the same capaility. There is no factory front camber adjustment on the Y33 not sure on the G50. Aftermarket camber plates can be purchased. If you require adjustment above the factory limitations out back you can pick up aftermarket RUCAs. Several Nissan chassis RUCAS interchange with the Y33 and the G50 and my company will be releasing application specific Y33 RUCAs in the near future.

I guess I just dont get it with that look.... I guess some people just need to stand out from the crowd and be noticed, even if it is to the detrement of a properly functioning vehicle.....
