I couldn't agree more. We do however have freedom of speech, which then becomes freedom of expression and there you go.

I can just see a car like that on the shoulder on the freeway with his hazards on, and some very concerned Good Samaritan calling 911 thinking the car just "broke" on the freeway

I think that there's a line that hsould be drawn between "Attention-seeking" and "reduced functionality and increased hazard."

That's just my take. I'm all for low fender gap and minimal sidewall, but that's as far as I'll take it. If my wheels are completely perpendicular to the road surface, I'm not a fan. A flush fitment is nice, but I'd hate to go too extreme. My idea of wheel perfection on a G50 is a set of chrome deep-dish basketweave/BBS type wheels with a small amount of sidewall showing. I'm more into a nice elegant look rather than flashy rice.

I like balance. Function, looks, sexiness and practicality. I don't want to drive a car that I have to always worry about scraping the underneath.

The stance of the M5 is my favorite. For the G50 I'd probably want some bitching Works-VSXX, Volk Racing G1-7, Fikse or whatever nice quality rim 18x8.5 all around with 255/40/18 PS2s with the combined weight of rim+tire equal or less than OEM and I'd be a very happy camper. However that would mean about $3,500.

I would also include Rays and BBS on that list. But that would definitely make me happy.

Car came out nice. I'm still waiting on my jp exhaust from Dennis it's been a month now :shrug... Just a few suggestions as to things you can add. Some jdm headlights and clearing the tails. It's a minor mod but makes a world of difference. People with stock q's always stop me and ask if my tails came like that ... Lastly mirror covers look great and piss off people in mercedes

How do you clear the tails?

What do you mean by mirror covers?

You crack the amber reflectors out of the tail lights. You put the tails in the oven for about 10 minutes then the glue holding the tails turns soft and you can pry open the tails to remove (or in some cases, break) the reflectors.

He means mirror covers that go over the stock mirrors. The ones with the LED winkers like the F50 Q has.

I agree on the VIP sub forum idea. I would log onto nico much more if there was one.

Ok. Thanks a million.

I'd love a VIP /EXE section.

Yea, I tried the oven route my first time and end up cracking the lens. Personally for my "we-tall-did" self i found that a heat gun and a lot of patience works best. Ive done 3 sets with the heat gun with no problem and am actually pretty fast at it now... As for the VIP/EXE section that would be interesting on this site considering that most people i know come here for mechanical information. I'm sure it would get bashed by members like maxnix, but then again it wouldn't make sense for him to visit either, so yeah bring it on

Yeah. The FSM says to use a heat gun. Similar to the one used to replace hockey stick blades.

Can you show some pics of this? When you do yours, you're talking about FY33's right? Can this be done for G50's?

Clublexus has a subforum for special interests and VIP is one of them. There are special rules to that subforum like if your going to bash then your priviledges to that subforum get denied. There are atleast 30 Q's or M's attempting the style on this forum but they rarely log in here unless they need tech info. That would change.

BTW, EXE is apart of VIP, its just alittle more mild and accepted by much more people since its much more functional but its still expensive.

Sorry for the thread jack, I already told you I like the car on another forum. Looks great as is.

I'm a member on the VIPstyle forum, and I'm not happy with it. Maybe i just don't get it, but I really can't deal with the way threads are posted. Upon getting into a thread, you see the latest post at the top. You have to go back multiple pages sometimes just to get the point of the thread. I hate that. If it had the NICO layout and was devoted to VIP then I'd be happy. I don't log in there much because of my dissatisfaction.

You can change that. Just change the settings from dessending order to assending order. The site is down at the moment so I cant walk you through what screens to go to.

Thanks for that. I'm not trying to bash the site, I enjoy the info and pictures. I just found it difficult to navigate through. I'll try it again when it's back up. The Q45 section that I visited seemed a little small and more focused on Cimas. I'd love for a section to be added to NICO and focus on G50's too. A nice VIP President is so hot.
