oh...crap though, i have to get some 5 lug wheels that will clear my big brakes. I just installed the 300zx brake calipers and Brembo rotors, and i don't have the stock SE rims, so i can't really drive the car right now. I'll have some wheels soon. I'm doing the S15 conversion as well. I have the headlights and hood. I just ordered metal OEM S15 fenders and i'm trying to find an OEM S15 front bumper. But i;ll get some figure eight videos as soon as i get some weels that will clear the brakes.

Very nice, and the welding looks good to me. Did you use a MIG?

did you use the stock cross members? or a special mount kit? im going to be dropping a rb20det into my s13 and was wondering if ill run into any problems...and the wiring freaks me out because everyone says its hard =/ does n e one sell a intake manifold/plenum for the rb20? the stock one looks hella ugly

it's all MIG welded. If i had a TIG welder, you could bet your *** it would be stainless and TIG welded.I am using the Unstable Hybrid mount kit. And i ran into a problem with the Turbo Downpipe and the Steering Column. Thats why i had to custom weld a downpipe/frontpipe.The wiring is a bit complicated, but there are plenty of write ups in this forum, and i will be releasing a write up sooner or later.

Also how much did the front end sag? if you guys wanna peep my swap in progress her it is.[URL]http://nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=50725[URL]

i haven't run it on a track yet.

And the car handles fine from what i can tell...i love the way it handles. There is no noticable change in the handling as a result of the motors size.

And it doesn't sag at all.

The last two points may be because i have JIC-Magic FLT-A2s on it. There are really really adjustable. In my opinion...the best suspension for a 240. But then again, i have them, so that makes me biased.

i don't think the transmission has a weight difference, but i have heard numerous different speculations on how much the motor weighs in comparison to the KA. i have an RB20 and a KA sitting on my shop floor. If i can get a big enough scale i'll weigh them nd let everyone know.

I don't know what my spring rates are off hand. But i have the paper work at the shop, i'll post the answer to that tomorow.

Yeah, go slap my new motor on a scale and let everyone know. I'd like to know myself.

Your spring rates are 7k front and 5k rear. His car drives like a dream. I am more than likely going with the FLT-A2's due to driving his car. I have driven an '02 M5, '03 Z33 Track Ed., and a highly modified '00 WRX (DMS coilovers 18" 17lb Sparco wheels etc), and I would have to say that Hybrid's car is the best handling (the WRX is a close second) out of the group.

thats excellent to know...i wanna make my car handle well but im affraid the weight might be too much given the engine and transmission im runnin...if you guys could get a weight i would have sumpin to ballpark my spring rates in the front and maybe the jics would be fine....by the way if you dont mind asking how much do the jics go for.thanks Dane
