1989 240sx coupe. Base model. 160,000 miles, blue interior. Its really clean for an '89 and is completely stock. Still has all 4 mudflaps and hubcaps along with spare tire, jack, and tools in the bag! The car has a build date of October 1988, so not only is this one of the first 240's ever made, its also the lightest!

Ive always wanted a two-tone and i just couldn't pass this up. Not sure what its fate will be. I bought the car without a title. I know, terrible idea, but I could literally sell the dashboard and make my money back. I might try to obtain a title and use this as an extra beater car, but if i cant i'll sell it or part it out. It would be a shame though, its really clean and it runs great!

Picture time

Interior is near mint, no rips or cracks. Stock cassette player, wow.

And my other base models

DO NOT part it out, get the title. its not as hard as most people make it out to be. hell, ive gotten titles for cars by just payin an 11 dollar fee. worse case scenario bond it. part it out and the 240 gods will strike you down.

The guy I bought it from owned an apartment complex. He said one of the tenants was evicted and they abandoned the car.

I called that buyer and thought about buying it! But the no title thing just wasnt for me. I dont have means of transporting it from the track so there goes that idea.

Nice purchase!

Is there no way of filing for a lost title? or something like that? i'm sure its different state to state. Would you be able to title it else where? off to google......so..

From what i found you should call the local police and get the vin ran to make sure it is not stolen to begin with. Then they well also be able to give you a report on all the owners hopefully and you can go from there. Also check to make sure it does not have any out standing liens against it. if they got kicked out they may have left the car because they couldn't pay for it? anyway http://www.givecars.com/state-....html that should help. from what i understand if you mind going through the leg work you can get a judge to give you a title in thirty days in most states

Although....maybe the last owners are d!ck? ....what if they want the car back? do you have a legit bill of sale from the complex dude?

Nice ride too, the interior shots alone are worth the leg work, not to mention the early car status I got friends in WI also.

You probably called me. lol I have it posted on craigslist Milwaukee. I didn't buy the car from around here. Ive had about 50 people call me in the last 2 weeks and ask me about the car. Not one person has even come to look at it yet. haha

Thanks for the info. I checked the vin with a few different places, and from what i've heard the car has no record of being stolen and has no leins on it. I did get a bill of sale from the guy, but he's not the last registered owner. The dmv told me i need the last registered owners signature to get a new title.

This 20 year old import car is from the midwest. It was previously titled in Minnesota. I hope that answers your question. The cars frame rails are solid though, so are the floorpans. E-mail me if you want more detailed pictures.

Probably did. The whole no title thing just puts a damper on things because I have no way of getting it to and from a track via a flatbed so i would need a title. Not to mention i would want to go terrorize the streets. sorry if i flaked on you. The car looks so clean tho

I would like some more detailed picture tho. And maybe to come check it out in person my email is [email protected]
