Okay just got this today, Its a '95 S14 Zenki, got KA24DE with 121k miles, auto trans. Dont really know much about S14's, but looks like it has some kind of better audio system (has tweeters is pillars) dont know if this is standard for S14 nor not. Trans shifts really nicely, engine work like a champ. Has a slight engine noise coming from timing chain area. I'm guessing its the top chain guide, but will not know until I pop the cover. Color is NISSAN AL0 Ruby Pearl. It has a small dent on passanger side front fender and antenna does not go up/down broken . Other than that its spotless and rust free, especially for Midwest area car. Costed me 3900 but taxes and dealer fees added up to total of 4500 out the door with tags Okay I know everyone likes pics so here they are, bad quality due to cell pics, enjoy and judge for your self. Straight from the dealer it went to storage for winter haha.

My brother is ging to work on it. He saw it come in when someone traded it in for some new Toyota. That black car next to S14 is his MX-3 with swaped KLZE. S14 is long way from my S13 which can be found here zerothread?id=384747 . .

Its hard to find a rust free 240 in the midwest area, but d@mn your $hit is clean. I had to go down to South Carolina for my s14. You know what would really look nice on your 240? A zenki lip, or maybe some oem fogs? I have both, you want?

Thanks guys ^, it kind of reminds me of the old color on my S13 ah the Cherry Red Pearl, that was nice.

He called me up, and wanted me to come and take a look at it, I was surprised of the condition.

By the way guess this is 240sx Base model, but looks like owner added power mirrors, power locks, had power antenna, unless these are standard for S14's, oh yeah also standard dual air bags.

She is bone stock, haha. Auto trans doesn't bother me at all, he wants to swap my old 5spd.

Yeah snow pisses me off, cant drive my S13 till like mid March or maybe latter

damn that is very clean although i'm not a fan of the color and seems like you got the base of the base models. (hubcaps)

also you paid 4k for that? i guess the price of s14's are going up...schweet.

those options are standard for base. you have SE sound system tho, unless its aftermarket. and the price is a little steep for a base auto zenki, but as long as you feel you got a good deal thats all that matters. good luck with your 5 speed swap, i still havent done mine.

Yeah but remember it was 3900 for car, but all the other fees added up. I would still have to pay the other fees sooner or latter. Before I knew the final price, I was shooting for something close to 2200-2500 for the car. Because I'm sure they got it for like 1500. The car would of been little cheaper but they replaced rear calipers and some other stuff. So dealer counted the money into the price EFING bastards LOL. . And most of the guys that work there didn't really know what it was, they were like its auto<<<so>>> Oh it will be hard to convert to manual<<<yeah okay>>>

I probably would of bought it cheaper if it was a private seller, but dealers jack the price up usually double of what they got it for.

"Base of the Base" I like that, but the sound system is OEM tweeters are molded into front pillars, came with cd-player/am/fm headunit looks worn and stock. Dont know if cd player works or not, have not tested.

Wish it had the OEM S14 base alloys , but I can toss my "tear drop" alloys from my S13 haha.

i was in the same boat as you. got a clean zenki from a dealer and ended up spending around 4 grand. but if you can afford it its def worth it. better then getting a rusted out junker that you have to put more money into just to get it clean

My buddy sold his rust free S14 w/180k (prof rebuilt top end), suspension, OEM fogs and new pass eat/door panels for $3k and was happy to get that???

You may have seen it, the Dad helped the son swap a SR into it, there's a great build thread on NICO.

Still a nice car, and I know what you mean about rust in the midwest .

Yeah I dont understand why some people are so scared of trans swaps, It's a joke to me.

If you spot a nice S13, or S14, and you really want it. And the only thing that's in the way is the trans, than you'll really loose out on it. S14 swap is a little more complicated, unless you have S14 trans. S13 trans has to be drilled and tapped for CPS (crankshaft position sensor) everything else is interchangeable. Don't know about drive shaft do, have to look into this.

But than again some people don't have my knowledge or the resources. Don't want to sound like a know-it-all, but if you stick around this forum long enough you can basically be able to do anything. Guess going to UTI helps out too.

^Rex I think I know which one u'r talking about, black S14, think it was SE with OEM alloys right. They dropped an Sr into it right, seen that thread a while ago.

s14derrick, What's the deal with the drive shaft is S13 a fit for S14's, I'm pretty much a noob with that for S14's HAHA . Or do I need S14 manual drive shaft?

Oh yeah I forgot to add, this has ABS, has sensor on nose of diff on the pinion

im pretty sure the s14 shaft is either longer or shorter then the s13 shaft. i also thnk they have differences from ABS and nonABS shafts. at least they have different specs when you order one piece aluminum shafts .maybe someone else can chime in with more info

Yep the Father and Son, Black - not an SE. The car had some 18" Drift or Drag brand wheels on it, when my buddy traded for and then sold it.

Their build thread was great.
