Edit****** 56K users beware 2nd page might be slow, lots of pics added************************************

Okay I took some pics today before I put it away into storage for winter. Just though I would post up some pics, and maybe get some ideas on what to do or improve on when I get it out next spring. I posted it here since I'm rocking RB motor. By the way car is dirty, insurance expired about month ago, and since I haven't been driving it since. I was too lazy to wash it, plus with this b****in cold temps up here in midwest.EnjoyNotice antenna is gone, radio is still picking up the stations through rear glass oem antenna.

Mistaken-> South Chicago Suburbs, if you know where Toyota Park is at I'm like 15min down south on Harlem Ave by 107th. Norridge is about 35-40 min from my house. I used to live around there in Elmwood Park Belmont/Cumberland, I'm also familiar with HIP plaza area. I have been with my car up north only once at "Strauts meet(dont know if that's how its spelled)" off of RT83 Kingery Hwy and North Ave.

ANVIL-> I have been bussy enjoying the car, wiring was done, as a trial and error and then tested(thanks to Carl H. write-up on this forum, and my own search through electrical section). But afterwards I just wanted to drive the car, and had no time to redo/organizit it LOL

try this link this should be Adobe file, manual for SPAL PWM controller

http://www.spalusa.com/fans/au...M.pdf

if it doesn't work or ur having problems with file, let me know I'll find mine and try to scann it to pc.

How does that NurSpec muffler sound? I've been thinking about getting one cause they have the optional silencer. Call me gay, but I don't really want my car to be super loud when I drop this engine in.-fuse.

To tell you the truth, I was kind of disapointed because car seems to be pretty quiet. And I'm not running the silencer. Silencer just muffles the noise a little bit, seems to me. And it does not sound like rice civic not even close. Exhaust is top quality, compared to full SS. My other choice was HKS, but seems to me they dont make full SS, their exhaust are painted. And rather seem to collect rust fairly quickly. I'm running 3" turbo back. Got mine from phase2motorsports(forum sponsor) for like $550 shiped they also threw in a Top Fuel Oil Catch Can. Got my exhaust in less then a week, realy good guys AAA++++ for customer service. I would also mention that I'm NICo forum member, dont know if it would help or not, but wouldn't hurt to mention.

Check with Jhot (forum sponsors), I think they have one set, it will be used and may be dented, but around half price of new. Used Blitz Nur Spec is really hard to come by, I was unable to find one,and bough new.

By the way I dont know if it's just mine Rb20 or all, but motor in clip with just turbo elbow, was quiet any way. These motors dont seem to be that loud (stock maybe). And attract unecessary attention from popo.

I'll see if I can get a video of my car at idle, and rev. Right now it's like 28F outside.

Your car would also have a really nice stance if you lowered the front a little..

But It is really nice!

NPVR6- thanks for comment. Coilovers were bough used, S13 Coils drilled to S14 bigger bolt holes. Perhaps I will have to readjust ride height on all 4 corners. If you notice on my rear one side is sitting higher above tire (left), right rear side is almost perfect. I had the front sitting super low. Tires were hiding in the fenders, plus chamber has to be changed But that makes for a 2 problems at least for me.1. PITA to get car on to drive on ramps, as is it all ready rubs my ramps 2. I have to relocate my wiring loom on driver side inner fender, it allready got some road rash from my tire. Tire-1 Wire loom-0 LOL

I'm working on getting this exhaust video. Youtube is being slow uploading that shiznit. 640mb I'll post link once I get it up.

By the way that is a PITWORK battery, it's ghetto rigged (no hold down bracket, my car never had one when I got it) that's why electric tap over + post, so it doesn't short and back in the azz. I have new Optima Red Top that more than likely will replace it (in trunk).

Okay bump video is up, excuse my incoherent side comment, and bad spelling.

fuse=--actionHere is link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hccyNqAndEQ

I think I reved it to like 5500rpm. When driving car you can hear turbo spool up really good, and factory BOV is pretty loud. By the way my car is not smoking, it's just the heat setting on camera lens.

She is bone stock, except exhaust, which consists of SYKO turbo elbow, ebay downpipe+test pipe, Blitz Nur Spec, and POD filter. Exhaust is full 3". Car is in like canopy tent type deal, might sound retarded. But I spent too much money and time for it to get ruined over stupid winter.

This has been my vision for some time, I prefer OEM look. Minor lip kits and add-ons are nice too. I try to do by best with very limited resources here in the states. But I would kill to own a nice clean R32-33-34. Like the look of Silvias all from 13 to 15. But personally if I would own a KPGC10 i would be happy

Did yo check out my video. Thing sounds nasty under load.

By the way guy that painted my car, suggested that I put a hood scoop. Thank god I had my balls that day with me and said no.no.no.

Splittime is right, it is strats =P. But yah im really close to the HIP actually. Hope to see your car around sometime, my coupe is up on a stands till the spring, since i dont want to drive it in the snow, and funding is running a little short at the moment.

also, rb's are pretty quiet on the stock turbo. Throw something larger on there and it will get louder.

splitime-> yes that's the one. It was dark and I went there with some friends, wasn't sure if that's what it's called exactly. Lots of Subarus and Mitsus, place was crowded when I got there.

If you guys want to go and meet up over there I would be up for it, this coming spring. I was an oddball, there was another coupe but it was all motor, and primer color (think he said he was from Chicago "chinatown" area.

After I left I got pulled over 2 blocks away, on North ave. Elmhurst let me off with just a warning. Guess since I have a CDL and I wasn't a total prick to him. He gave me that run around, your exhaust is loud , I told him to give me a DB rating with a meter. He said that its not factory, give me a brake I have heard that line too many times. I'm glad he didn't get on my balls for the "silvia" badge and say what is that.

But I think it was because I peeled off from the driveway when I was leaving Strats, and got her kind of sideways ( sorry she tends to do it on her own when I get it in the right RPM band.LOL)

How bout this for a turbo (hope everyone like pics) Holset HE351CW x2 and the on on right is Toyota CT26(but that's for something else)He351Cw is basically a newer version of HY35, but with little bigger compressor and PWM boost solenoid (T3 flange, Rb20 bolt-on lol) But that's for latter down the road, for now stock will have to do.

By the way when I was driving her, why do people look and stare at me like I'm an idiot. This on passanger from a car was hanging 1/4 of his body out the window with his jaw . Is that type of behavior normal, car is stock looking for a coupe right, except the wheels. Maybe it was the backfire from exhaust he noticed.

Thanks for putting that video up. It sounds really nice.-fuse.

You're still running side mount, so that wouldn't be it. That's what I'm afraid of when I get my engine in. Maybe I'll get one of those black front mount intercoolers...

Lucky you with the HE351cw.

Should work damn well on the rb. With its smaller hotside AR over say the HX35s.. similar/same as the HY... but a bigger compressor blade than the HY.

Can I have the extra one?

Sorry that's my back-up/parts lol. But their both have minimal shaft play. Blads are not chipped or worn anywhere. Just got to get a rebuilt kit.

I bough both on ebay. One was for me, and 2nd for my bro's KLZE. But he pussed out.

I bough 2nd one by mistake, I was kind of F@cking around with people on ebay, and accidentally out bid someone. LOL. (so now its my spare)

fuse=--action, no problem.Yes I'm still SMIC, I had a complete front clip (for $2000 shipped) There was no reason for me to get FMIC, I would when I'll get forward facing intake manifold. If I knew I would get my hands on a clip with panels (hood not pictured) I probably wouldn't get S13 front.here it is.

jdmforever- some Canadian seller, jdm_planet on ebay. They had it listed couple of times but no one bought it, so I offered them $2000 s/h. Bit the bullet when I bought it. Came without radiator (dont know why) Think they had a second R32/rb20 clip think it was like red/maroon (but I think it was sold before I bough mine). They shipped it with in 5 business day to UPS freight terminal.

Joe- it's same size as back 17", it probably looks like that because I put S14 Front lower control arms which came with 5-lug hub/spindles. This changes the front tire track width. I would have to lower the front a whole lot more. As you can see, I stretched the tires, I could get a whole lot wider tires, if that's what you mean.

deuce_fourtySX, yeah S14 are nice, I couldn't afford one back in '03. Kouki's are my favorite out of S14 but I got nothing agains Zenki. I would probably own ether one, if I would ever bough one.

I remember the very first time I saw a S14 Kouki with full OEM body kit in Jet Black. I was staring at that car for good 5 minuts. I didn't know exactly what 240sx were back than. The very first thing that struck me were the sharp angled head lights with that slick figure, 2door coupe FTW

RB motors are great, you will not be dissapointed.

So next summer we will have two black coupes in the area with rb's.

placham... heres a picture or two of my rb25 swap s13. Note its really dusty in these pics since it was way to cold to wash it before it went back into the garage.

Mistaken, you got to hit me up this spring, that coupe looks sick RB25 man you gona make me look bad.

$hit guess I got to start gathering parts to throw that Holset on the 20. So far that is the 3 coupe I have seen in the area and about 4 S14.Injectors, and maybe Apexi FC(if I get enought cash). right now turbo timer, and boost controller, is on my to get list.

And got to tidy up my engine bay FTW.

What diff you runing?

Oh yeah what headligts you going with, halogen, 2xprojectors, 3xprojectors? Front grill or the silvia garnish?

Wide rear overfenders and front wide fenders I spy, with are those maybe Enkei RPF1 or something close to it? (with some excesivelly wide tires)

Man I remember when I went to Strats, I heard some one say "SILVIA what's that?" sleeper FTW LOL ,,, ILLINOIS FTW haha

I dont think his engine is sitting low (dont know the set-up) but think it looks like that, because once the intake manifold is mounted it will even out. Manifold going over the top takes a lot of room.

The mounts are all custom made, having access to a machine shop and cnc has its perks . I think the motor is sitting just a little to low right now, might need to bring it up just a little. As for my intake manifold, my new setup is an independent throttle body system with a plenum. Soooo no more over the top of the valve cover setup for me.
