Well...it looks like this thread's been beaten to death. Q guys swear buy the Q's, Maxima guys stand by the Maxima and of course the 240sx camp vouch for their own.
First and foremost, I'd like to preface by citing that I am in no way trying to knock anyone's opinion, afterall mine's just as important as the next guy's. But as I've said before, I've grown up around Nissans and right now, there's a couple of Max's and I30's, a beater 240sx and a 400hp Z in the stable.
By all means these are all great cars but as I've said before and forever preach, the Q is altogether, is another kind of vehicle. Not that any of the aforementioned cars are "common" or pedestrian in any way, it's just the Q is THAT much better. The Q's a mythical beast, a unicorn, you've been chasing...whose reputation both stirs the imagination and excites your senses. It's a ghost, a being that exists in a higher plane than your common car. It's the kind of car that opens your mind to a whole new friggin' world yet saddens you at the same time. The Q is the apogee of automotive excellence and you know that when you buy another car, step into any car not named Bentley, or rolled off the assembly floors of a secluded Italian assembly line, you're settling for less. It's not just a friggin car!, but a state of mind... a friggin experience.
I've come across many amazing cars in my 21 years, but none Quite measure up to the Q... For all you naysayers bashing the Q as an old-man's car...I'm deeply saddened for you guys. Meantime, I'll cruise around the Q with a great big grin on my face.

Life is Qtiful!
