Thanks Boooey
if you are good with a drill, then its an easy install if you ask me. Most dealers will have no experience installing a Rogue spoiler, since its so new.. and will probably be just as inexperienced as you will be doing the install.Pescakl1 wrote:

It was in my mind for a future mod, but this one seems to be out of my league.
Just to be 100% sure I won't do it : Did you do it yourselves ? If yes, how much time did it take you to do it? Was it as complicated as it looks?
Same reasons there are price differences on any product out there...SLOW_V wrote:Why is there such price difference on the spoiler?
Its a universal chrome accessory doubletape piece that you can buy at any Autobacs store in Japan. I dont know where they would sell it in the US though. Im sure they have similar type stickon chrome pieces for aesthetic purposes at your local car shops.bboard wrote:Yeah, the chrome piece below the headlights...it's sweet! do you remember what it's called? or seen it anywhere else?
Wow... that's a shocker. I also got my body side molding from SportWing.com. Fast shipping, great product, great color match... etc... yet I see they no longer have any Nissan vehicles listed on their website. Very strange. Although I'm not aware of any members buying side molding from the SpoilerDepot... several Rogue owners have reported they were pleased with their spoiler purchases, i.e., quality, paint color etc., of the spoilers they purchased. Here's a link to their Rogue molding:johnrogue wrote:I just got an 08' Rogue for my wife and I really like your side molding. I went to the site you posted to get a part number and they didn't seem to have side molding for the Rogue. What molding did they have you use? Thanks in advance.
Try this link...johnrogue wrote:I just got an 08' Rogue for my wife and I really like your side molding. I went to the site you posted to get a part number and they didn't seem to have side molding for the Rogue. What molding did they have you use? Thanks in advance.
Good Catch! I simply went to the URL I had bookmarked from when I purchased my side molding:mlmcgahee wrote:Try this link...

They must have moved the url.
Check out this thread. You'll see photos of an eBay spoiler as compared to a genuine Nissan spoiler. As you will see, there is very little difference between the two. In reality, most of the aftermarket spoilers are copies so they will pretty much be the same same in shape and and style. NET: They will cover the brake light by the same amount.Rogue2008 wrote:Anyone installed the ebay spoilers? They look great but how much do they cover the brake light?

Im in Vancouver and ordered a US spec OEM painted spoiler from LeeParts.com. The total was only $182 shipped to Blaine. I drove down and picked up the part, customs didn't even bother charging me duty or taxes (typical for something of this dollar amount). I had a local body shop install the spoiler for $160.Bizdak wrote:Hi Mlmcgahee.. I am in CAnada but I really want to buy the U.S. version spoiler but as we all know there is that the spoilers from the two countries are different. what i want to know is, how much does the U.S. spoiler cover the third brakelight? also one more thing, do you know where your dealer get their spoiler? because here where i live it will cost me around $700 for the spoiler and install!!and also they said they never installed spoilers before, they didn't even know there was a spoiler for the early rogue models
anyway looking forward for your answers and thanks in advance

The edge of the spoiler curves down and covers part of the light if you are standing a cars length away or riding in a tall truck. The base of the spoiler (the part that touches the car) does not cover the light at all. Either way when a car driving behind you they will see the light.
i sell OEM nissan spoilers on ebay for the rogue. i have black & silver available. $44.99+15(ship).Rogue2008 wrote:Anyone installed the ebay spoilers? They look great but how much do they cover the brake light?
Hey ImStricken, I might want to get a black one from you. Your listing, listing however, says you don't have the template? Do you know where I could get one?ImStricken wrote:i sell OEM nissan spoilers on ebay for the rogue. i have black & silver available. $44.99+15(ship).Rogue2008 wrote:Anyone installed the ebay spoilers? these are 100% OEM Nissan spoilers- not knockoff's.
the only reason they are so cheap is because i dont have the install kit (nuts/bolts/templates). you can get the nuts & bolts at any hardware store for a couple cents.
